I've never understood the hype for Louie.  He's good but I feel like he consistently skates below his level.  Hence being able to land the same trick a dozen times in a row.  The Primitive am video was leagues ahead of anything in here.  I'm glad he didn't get SOTY.  Maybe during a slow year they'll throw him a bone like AVE.

Fastbreaks must be a really great shoe. Dude has two of his own pro-models and he's skating Fastbreaks in at least 40% of this footage

i noticed hes wearing fastbreaks any time it's a bigger drop or if there's more impact than he usually takes which makes sense the fastbreak is like cons only cupsole and the louies are super thin vulcs

Finally watched the whole thing.... All the Paris footage at the end hits so hard!

what really struck me generally is that in an hour (!) of watching him skate fucked-up big spots.....there is not one horrifying slam. True mark of talent IMO, being able to not get wrecked.

Completely undeniable skating. It's not just the talent and ability, but especially the spot selection - he almost always does exactly the right trick for the spot in question. Just amazing to watch.

Noticed he was probably skating the 80hd chargers in that one clip where his wheel fell apart, I'm skating some right now in Alaska and they rule, they're only 54mm but I feel like I can roll over anything
