Uncommon/unpopular brands that you love

Basically been wondering if any Pals have “weird” or possibly even “embarrassing” gear that they use as part of their standard shit?

I remember there was someone who used to post regularly (forget their username) who was a diehard for Minilogo everything, but specifically almost sold me on trying the trucks .

So yeah, do you only rock Trackers? Do you scrape the logos off your Acid Chemical wheels so no one knows? Do you skate better in one of those weird Brazilian shoe companies?

Ricta - the slims wheels are such a great shape...looking YOU RADIAL SLIMS
SC/Creature boards (but that's really just DSM wood)
Bones STFs are still amazing wheels and the V5 shape is tits (come on DLX/Spit bring back the cobra cole AWOL/cutaway shape)

I rock pizza decks. Some of the graphics are corny but I like psstix decks. Plus they are on always on sale.

Got love for Shut skates, had one of the HHF decks and loved the shape. Rodney Smith was a really nice guy too. Never got to try 5B sadly

Thought I was the only person on SLAP riding Krux downlows. I ride medium-tight trucks and the bushings just work the best and the kingpin clearance is amazing. Also switched up to dragons last year which is not uncommon but people seem to be ashamed to like them? Lol they were a gamechanger for me (east coast skating)

Now that's an uncommon, I used to like their V3 (slim) shape but their use case is limited to spots with smooth ground.

Bronson G3 get a bad rep, but they're serviceable at $17 clearance price (or lower with SWH discounts). Wouldn't pay MSRP for them.

Slap had a theeve era, I wanna say it was a year or so before welcome blew it. If you look through the setup thread, you can see the slap trends.

I’ve had one pair since 2011; skated them through multiple different setups. I can’t say the same about Thunder, or Indy. Broken multiple base plates and snapped trucks in half with both

I love everything about how Theeve skates, and have vouched for them on here several times. They're the perfect geo for tech skaters that want a surfy turn. However, you can only break so many baseplates before it stops making sense. Steve hooked me up with extras, so I lasted a couple years on them, even resorting to putting Ace classics plates on them when I ran out.

Thankfully, Slappy came along at just the right time.

One of my favorite brands growing up and one of the coolest in its prime. It’s a shame it turned into one of the lamest. I’d still rock a hoodie if I had one. I see the most random Zoo York gear at Burlington Coat Factory and Ross but it doesn’t look like the OG stuff.
