Another one is HLC boards. I honestly think their regular high concave shape is best out there

This is true. Among the best, if not the best.

Muttu skateboards is a big thing in india

pakistan has a skatepark with locals but no skateboards so they get weird decks from china

probably the same shit as primitive blanks

I rock pizza decks. Some of the graphics are corny but I like psstix decks. Plus they are on always on sale.

I’ve also been getting pizza because they’re ps stix decks! Warmup tricks are all board slides to get rid of the awful graphics.

Bones STF V4 shape (close to spit classic full shape, would like to see it in X99 formula)
Alien/Habitat 8.75 sect shape.
Also like the creature stumps.

The alien habitat 8.75 shape is so good.  I've probably skated this more than any other shape, definitely in the last few years.  I'm trying one of their more shaped shapes next finally just to change it up.

Where do you even find this Sect shape? None of their boards on their site are labeled as such, and googling doesn’t really help since they throw that “Sovereign Sect” line into so much of their ad copy

Not always updated (dont have their newest drop in yet on either website in shape guide), but here is a link to the shape guides for alien and habitat:

https://www.alienworkshop.com/pages/shape-guide
https://habitatskateboards.com/pages/shapes

All the standard looking popsicles on the alien and habitat websites listed at 8.75 are this shape, which they call the Sect 8.75 in the shape guide.  Probably metal as well, but never had any of them.  If you just browse their deck websites for the 8.75, that would do it as well.

in addition to the above - on their site, at least, they usually say just under the dimensions

Sale wise this is a great deal:

https://habitatskateboards.com/products/tracers-yellow-8-75

They are all the same in my experience though, so pick whatever graphic you like of course.  IM skating one of these yellow habitat ones right now, but have skated tons of the visitor 8.75. They also seem to last for a long time..

I believe they only have 1 8.75 popsicle shape between AWS / Habitat which use similar molds for decks, Metal has some shaped 8.75 boards.

In terms of woodshop they've used DSM in the past (2022 - 2023), now their almost exclusively BBS.

I like ricta, and they're always in consideration when I'm looking at wheels.

Yup. Same here. Plus over here in my country rictas area cheaper than Spits/Bones wheels.

I openly love darkstar and have since the Guy Kamphen, Ryan Kenreich days.  Never had a deck but rode the wheels a bunch as a kid

I literally forget that Ricta even exists, not really carried by my locals, probably at only really at Zumiez these days - what do you guys see as the benefit they have over Spitifires?

I used to skate Theeves around 10-12 years ago, when they came out. I think I had 2 sets over 1,5-2 years. Good trucks, never broke, only problem were the Bones bushings which dont last for shit, so I swapped them for some Indys if I remember correctly.

Right now I skate Film trucks, love that shit.

Also on Film right now, love them for certain things but maybe not for everything.

What’s up with Theeve? I see some for relatively cheap online once in a while but I know some people said certain models really stick when grinding certain materials. Which models are the good ones?

There are tons still for sale on Zumiez and Tactics websites, depending on what size you're into.

Fury trucks still selling online.  Never seen someone with them in the wild.  bizarrely kreppers seem to have a huge collector following online.

Hard fast, slippery. I think the 101a feel better than the  spit 101a. I also like the bones 101a better too for similar reasons.

Also I think ricta makes the coolest looking wheels. wheel aesthetic doesn’t mean a lot on the board. Because they all pretty much look like shit after day. It’s easy to pic function over style. But personally on the shelf. I think ricta looks cooler

But like I understand the functionality of spitfire. Also spitfire is the best colored wheels. I’m riding pink spitfires now, because if I want a pink wheel It’s either spitfire f4 classics, or like welcome orbs.

When I was a kid I wanted Ricta wheels so bad. The team was stacked and the wheels looked so cool with the raised lettering. Fury trucks too, but as I got older and noticed not even the riders rode the trucks, I lost interest. Black magic though!! I pretty muched loved all shortys gear

Grit wise Black Magic feels 1 grade below Mob, 2 above Jessup, and stays gritty even 5 weeks into a deck. Same with Pepper which feels just below Black Magic, so 1 grade above Jessup.

Speaking of Mob I have a few sheets of M80 I got on clearance, looking to see if it's less gritty than standard Mob.
