‘Let it Kill You’: A Brand New Documentary Series is Coming to VICE

Let It Kill You is a suitably intense examination of the nexus between skateboarding and art. It’s a potent cluster-bomb of epiphanies, inspiration, freedom, poignancy, paint and shredding, and if you liked Epicly Later’d – or any of our other skateboarding films over the years – you’re going to love it. Starting from the 28th of May, Let It Kill You will arrive in six revelatory episodes and is backed up by a wide supporting cast – including Andrew Reynolds, Kevin ‘Spanky’ Long, Michael Burnett, Tommy Guerrero, Elissa Steamer, Andrew Allen and many more.

There's two episodes on Patreon of GH and Ted Barrow rating skater art. Better than anything that VICE thing can aspire to be in its brine of positive noise. Brian Lotti is a legit great painter, didn't know his stuff before they rated him and it blew me away. Miles beyond Gonz or Blender imho

Javi Mendizabal is really good. Could be debated if it's high art from purely art standpoint, but he's a legit painter, not just doodles and sketches on canvas.
