Looking at Cole's Insta, his bio includes: "Live rad, don't be lame. For real." Perhaps I'm being cynical or I'm off-the-mark here, but often people who advertise such mantras, are not always living up to them. He appears to be the extreme opposite in fact.

Is is rad to be so controlling and possessive that you got someone to change their name for your own ridiculous image?

Is it rad to resort to aggressive outbursts of dangerously busting up a windscreen when you don't get your way?

What kind of man uses such extreme and careless measures to communicate a point?

I’m older so may be out of touch,   But I have been married for 20 years.   My spouse and I have had many heated arguments,     Where I’m sure one of us felt traumatized.   I have deserved to have things thrown at me.  I guess my point is it’s hard to distinguish what is a bad unhealthy relationship vs an abusive one.    Either one should be ended which it was.     If it ended because the way he acted,   the loss of his family and a beautiful woman seems like a punishment to me.     From a financial standpoint if we were to cancel him and he was left with zero income,    How would that help his kids?     If he is paying alimony and/or child support wouldn’t that be affected?

If charges of abuse were filed against him, I think it would be another story.      But as it stands here and with cancel culture in general is it’s about tearing someone down to make yourself feel better.   Often it’s a person we don’t like for reasons unrelated to issue at hand.   We don’t like Coles skating, so let’s cancel him.    We like Karl’s and he seems like a nice guy so he gets the pass?

why do boomers always smash the keyboard five or six times between sentences? i never understood that

Double spacing after a full stop/period was how people were taught. It's a hangover from typewriters where the keys would clang or jam or something. I was taught to use double spacing in school, even when handwriting. I think maybe early typing classes made us double space (I'm 41 now).

This is how I understood it. They never quite explained it to me, but maybe they did, but I don’t remember.  The double space was to make up for the fact that a single space between words might make it look like the words are stuck together.

This was typed on cellphone so double space entered period with single space afterwards.

But if it was computer, you would see the ol’ double tap.
Thanks y’all. It’s been fun.

Interesting. Now that you mention it I remember one of me elementary teachers mentioning double spacing, but she said it was out dated and we didn’t have to practice it.

Just looked it up on wiki and it turns out I was wrong - it has nothing to do with typewriters

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sentence_spacing

Quote
Until the 20th century, publishing houses and printers in many countries used additional space between sentences. There were exceptions to this traditional spacing method—some printers used spacing between sentences that was no wider than word spacing. This was French spacing—a term synonymous with single-space sentence spacing until the late 20th century.[3] With the introduction of the typewriter in the late 19th century, typists used two spaces between sentences to mimic the style used by traditional typesetters.[4] While wide sentence spacing was phased out in the printing industry in the mid-20th century, the practice continued on typewriters[5] and later on computers.[6] Perhaps because of this, many modern sources now incorrectly[7] claim that wide spacing was created for the typewriter.[8]

I dunno I didnt really care that cobra focused a windshield in a fit of rage 10 years ago when I saw that interview for the first time, and I dont really care today just because fucking shtonk made a slap thread about it

The only thing you've to add to the discourse is that you didn't care then, or now. Why bother entering a thread you have no interest in, or nothing of substance to add to? Some SLAP posts make no sense to me.

The weirdo shit is him enforcing his rearranged middle name over her original first name. If that standalone reasoning doesn't raise your eyebrows, or, you don't think the motives therein were flavoured by controlling and possessive qualities, you may want to read Christine's post on that.

This isn't all up in the ex relationship of a pro you don't belong as it is a response to aspects of the relationship that have been made public by Christine.

SLAP has had the power to help bring some accountability on people who have done terrible things, and therefore some sense of justice or closure to victims. Perhaps this may be one of those times, maybe not. But at least it is shedding light on patterns and signs of unhealthy relationships. Maybe, that may help people either in them, or other people to steer clear of them.

My hot take is to LET him ride for zero. LET him stay. Not because he doesn’t deserve to hurt. But because he DOES. If he is forced off of zero and has to get a real job like at Walmart or Starbucks. He will get healthcare. For sure. We KNOW he doesn’t have it now skating for zero. So he’s worse off. We know he can’t be making much. Also, he should HaVe to film for the last part indefinitely. And the part should have to get MORE dangerous as time goes on. That’s how we get him. We should get something out of this.

That’s some impressive 4d chess right there. I shall not be your enemy anytime soon.
Thanks y’all. It’s been fun.
