Poor woman was suffering badly for a minute with mental illness, as well as other health issues.

I don’t wanna say it’s not sad, but at least she doesn’t have to suffer anymore.

She got the bad end of the deal with Kubrick in the shining, definitely underrated and will be missed.

And she went peacefully in her sleep. Quite literally the best way to go.

Other than death by snoo-snoo.

Her role as Wendy Torrance in The Shining is amongst my all time favorite performances by an actor.
Obviously, I don't think it justifies her treatment at the hands of Kubrick, but the fact remains that it was an extremely impactful performance to me.

I've never been one for parasocial relationships or making assumptions about the private lives and personalities of famous people, but I could never help but think Shelley Duvall seemed like she'd be a very pleasant person to be around.

To be fair I remember seeing some bts stuff and she went to take a bite of eggs when they were set to start a difficult scene with a snow machine involved haha .

I love when people bring up world hunger. It makes everything meaningless.
"That guy is double parked."
"Who cares? There are people starving to death! Besides, how does that affect you? Does it lessen the joy of parking?

Was thinking that he was as much a part of the success of the original Star Wars 1977 film as anything.  Thank you Mr. Jones
