So Rob admits he sent the emails, but now claims he was “sending them on behalf of a victim”. But in his emails he claimed to be the victim themselves.

Dude was caught in a lie. Clearly Jamie knew that the emails were from rob (and now rob has admitted that they were). So in no way would a reasonable person conclude that Jamie is guilty of breaching the trust of a confidential claim because he himself knew (or had grounds to believe) that claim was falsified - hence any claim of confidentiality would be void(?).

If anything, I (being a foreigner with no real knowledge of US law) would hypothesise that Rob is attempting to bring about some form of legal entrapment because he is using fabricated claims or false representations with the aim of causing someone else to commit a crime or otherwise perceived illegal act.

Even if his claim is true and he is in contact with victims, why is his counsel to them that they should email some shitty skateboard brand’s email inbox instead of contacting local law enforcement? It’s because it’s about pursuing his own interests and attention seeking.

He probably has some kind of ownership over the ride clips in that case. I believe It’s harder to get something taken down that’s outside of YouTube but if you even screengrab a corner of a video that already exists on YT and use it without permission you can get a strike.

Youtube's copyright protection system is very vulnerable to false takedowns (even by people who don't hold the copyright) and they make it very difficult to appeal these decisions

rob filed some bogus copyright strikes and got it taken down but not before almost 200k people saw it. he called it "libelous" and seemingly assumed everyone who saw it would develop collective amnesia after the video was removed but all he's done so far is streisand himself. pretty sure GH said he would fight the copyright charges but i can't say for certain what's going on with it

edit: he also took down the articles blog posts he self-published excusing his self-admitted sexual assault and roman polanski fantasies with a literal child
