Friend awaiting admin approval

Can't find a past thread addressing this but one of my buds was trying to get an account on here 5 days ago (first time using SLAP) but says it's awaiting admin approval, is there an estimated wait time? His user is @Kob

There's no approval pending notice on his account, which is usually visible to the mods on the user's profile. Has he checked his email inbox (spam folder too) for an activation link?
