I’m not really a game of skate fan these days, but  Did DD show how easy it is to organize a game of skate get everyone there and film it in one day with no budget?

I was pretty impressed as well that everyone showed up. The only alternate was Snappy, Ricky Glaser was supposed to be playing but couldn't for some reason. This was organized months ago, making sure everyone's schedule lined up with a specific date that we could all attend to. I guess $1,000 for a game of SKATE was enough to make that happen. I was surprised Kelly showed up, that was the only thing I didn't know about. Contest started at 11 AM and ended around 4 PM. Dumb Datas a nice dude, it was an honor to be included. All those dudes are insanely good at flatground and it is no wonder why most of them were in BATB finals at some point. I believe he said there will be another one next year.

* Is Kelly dumb? Genuine question. No doubt they regretted choosing him as the ref almost immediately (also if he's the ref why is he asking other people if things count? He literally took a vote for Jeff's one trick to count)

* Who is snappy and why was he there? Lost instantly.

* I love Joa but he was annoying during this

* The Jeff/Zach game was cancer. Both are whiny as hell, especially Zach.

Kelly wasnt taking anything seriously. I think he did that just to add to the humor of what our game was already.

Snappy is another youtuber who filled in for Ricky

After watching my own game, I definitely could have shut up about some stuff but overall I was trying to be self deprecating because I knew Zach was going to win and that I had no chance in general against these guys. When Zach got into BATB he was training for it almost every day, and would hit me up often to play SKATE. He would beat my ass every time and knew all my weaknesses going into this. I knew there was no chance of me winning but I thought we would at least play a gentleman's game. Right off the bat he went cut throat for stuff he knew I wouldn't land. This was frustrating because even the day before this he texted me asking "how I was feeling" which I thought was a little weird and talking about who he thought was the biggest threats in the game. That put into perspective how seriously he was taking this.

This isn't even cringe compared to what had happened towards the end of the whole game but I'll let that be a surprise.

First off the vibes at this event were very awkward. Some people there wanted to dick around and have fun, some people were taking it extremely seriously. Not a great situation. I way over compensated trying to be funny, because I did not want to be involved in something that felt like it sucked. I care a lot about YouTube and I did this because I thought it had potential to be sort of random but it was uncomfortable in all the wrong ways.
Seems like many people are not picking up on the fact I was trolling. At no point was I upset about anything that happened. I was not being very funny and that is completely my bad. I was unsuccessfully trying to make what felt like a dismal situation fun. I should have just let it be weird instead of trying to fill up the awkward silence with the sound of my voice.
That being said I think a lot of people are taking me way too seriously, the flask was obviously a prop, the same as the banana peel in the Tom game.

it is unfortunate that joa graced these guys with his virtual capital and they were too small picture to see what he was trying to do. his YSL vids are designed to be entertaining to an audience that is in on the jokes, more like a sketch. yeah dudes win at the end, but everyone in it is a winner because they are all playing little parts and you will remember them. we get jeff's self deprecation and understated sass because joa will interview him for 5 minutes before hand to set precedent. he obviously wants a skate youtube metaverse where everyone can work together and prosper to a degree, but i dont think most of these dudes can see the forest through the trees.

this is conceptualized, filmed, and edited to be a bunch of whiny bitches standing in the sun because dumb data is a lazy math nerd with a thousand bucks.
