Quote
Looking at some recent cases of self-incrimination, where the perpetrator flaunts their criminality, it seems unfathomable anyone would willingly shoot themselves in the foot. What’s the logic behind it?
Some of it is braggadocio. Some of it has to do with wanting acceptance by criminal peers—that’s especially true with gangs, but not exclusively; it’s also true with juveniles. They think it gives them street cred.

Was hoping last week when they couldnt find him that dude wouldn't self report himself...oh well

I’m not saying it’s a fake, but the fact that it has been edited (ex. [my dad]), but it’s still presented visually as a screen capture from text messages, it makes me a look at it with suspicion.
If you can't handle me at my Marc Johnson, you don't deserve me at my Bobby Puleo.

Jimmy Kimmel just got his show canceled over his comments about Charlie Kirk.

Funny how freedom of speech only applies if you're a nazi.

Now, I don't give a single shit about Jimmy and ABC and this show, but him and Colbert being "silenced" is alarming. Meanwhile, we have right-wing media spewing lies, RFK being a complete dumb fuck, and Trump himself going on boomer rants at 2am. But that's okay cause its "freedumb of speech" for these guys.

EDIT: to clarify, this is what got his show canceled:

"We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it," Kimmel said.

that's literally it.....

At least they were upfront about it this time.. I brought up the Colbert thing on the bloard awhile back and a poster was claiming “financial reasons” then too. Wonder if Kimmel gets canned from Who Wants to Be a Millionaire as well? Anyway, what a mess.

It’s insane how they argue Charlie Kirk was about free speech while literally violating the FCC. Remember when they said free speech was under attack when Twitter (a private company) blocked Trump and others for “hate speech” which violated their TOC?

Now Trump has the FCC going after any on-air personality who speaks poorly of him. Also having Pam Bondi herself go after the person at Office Depot who refused to print the CK vigil posters under the guise they violated a person’s civil rights?!

Literally weaponizing of the government.

Edit: $10 he goes for SNL and South Park next.

Trump just declared Antifa a “terrorist organization”.

Declare your enemies terrorists and you can justify their murder.

And after the FBI and CIA stated that ANTIFA is a movement, not an organization. Unlike Proud Boys who he removed that label from.

We as a nation are fucked.

The idea that anyone really thought the killer was a Nick Fuentes fan is pretty amusing.

It was a painfully obvious coping mechanism for the gravedancers who felt the need to morally distance themselves from the killer while still being happy about what he did. This has backfired spectacularly, because a lot more people noticed that than you think.

His show is not cancelled.   It’s pulled off the schedule at the moment because a large affiliate looking to do a merger wouldn’t air it, but the show is not cancelled

Jimmy Kimmel didn’t say shit that isn’t true, MAGAts are doing their best to paint the Kirk killer as a radical leftist are they not?

Trump”s tweet about the show being pulled off the air (he wrongly said it was cancelled) is more proof (as if we needed any more) that DJT is the biggest pussy, softest bitch toddler ass whiny man baby that has ever walked the face of the earth.

For a world class grudge holder - it’s weird he’s not constantly talking about the guy who tried to kill him.

Yeah put Jay Mohr on.   No one liked him in the 90s or 00s enough to make him a name talent, but it’ll probably take now that he has a podcast or some shit

I for one, would NEVER believe anything coming from them w/o being able to 100% confirm it from multiple independent corroboration sources. These are the same people who lie blatantly about things you are seeing with your own eyes in real time in your actual life(not vids, news etc but in person), so yeah I’m calling bullshit on the texts etc.
Now, as for would a groyper carve shit like that as well as kill somebody that kinda on their side? Yes absolutely. Gotta jump start that civil war somehow.
Not exactly the same but think Manson family. They committed a bunch of random murders of rich whitetrying to frame the panthers and kick off a race war. So yeah, it’s way more probable that’s the case.

He might not be that funny but old Rogan couldn’t even keep the man show afloat. That’s pretty fucking pathetic. Didn’t he also run away crying after someone that’s girlfriend/daughter/sister was on girls gone wild and they threatened to beat his ass?

Silencing dissenting speech against the state, and speech in general, is not something to lightly brush aside nor celebrate.

Everyone should be alarmed by this type of behavior. It doesn’t end with people standing on either the right or left, we are all equally impacted by this. The right will be impacted when it’s too late, and they realize the machine turned against them and never really represented them.

Trump was literally banned on all social media platforms for like 2 years, did you guys have the same feelings about that? Doubt it. Free speech only matters to you guys as long as it aligns with your viewpoints.

There's a pretty clear difference between publicly traded social media platforms not wanting to host repeat offenders, which they are under no legal obligation to do, and the head of the FCC asserting pressure on ABC leadership because a guy they don't like made what may or may not turn out to be a factual error. Where is your outrage for Brian Kilmeade's suggestion that we should forcibly execute homeless people?

As far as whether the alleged shooter was or wasn't a Groyper, realize we are getting a managed behind the scenes look at the investigation that normally we wouldn't be aware of. Why were we able to read text messages that assert that there is a letter but then the letter itself was destroyed but then recovered somehow but not released? It took less than than 24 hours for pundits on the left and right to start questioning the legitimacy of those released text exchanges. If we're saying he couldn't be on the right because of who he loved, I would suggest that you are getting a take from an aging political class and legacy media that is way behind the curve in regards to what's really going on in online spaces. Here's an edit of a livestream where Nick Fuentes goes on a date with an Australian far right content producer.

It baffles me that you can't tell the difference. Kimmel being taken off the air is censorship by proxy. It's the government pressuring private action, and that is a violation of the First Amendment. It is also so fucking clearly happening because Nexstar wants to merge with another company so they can acquire more stations, and they can't do that without the FCC's approval. DT being banned on social media was a consequence he earned that was handed down from those individual companies for violating their individual rules of conduct.
