Unfortunately, a US president can attack countries as long as they inform congress within 48 hours, but has to withdraw within 60 days, unless congress approves. It’s part of the War Powers Resolution passed during Nixon’s presidency.

I definitely don’t back it because this is an obvious attempt to steal resources for American companies. Fentanyl isn’t produced in Venezuela, especially on a large scale. Pharmaceutical companies get no blame and T has no problem pardoning drug traffickers as long as they bribe him, so the whole war on drugs aspect is bullshit. Republicans just like killing people to flex power because they think being a man is about making people submit to them.
