Let’s not forget all this is happening when the DOJ is supposed to report to congress their reasons for all the redactions concerning the Epstein Files.

IT’S A DISTRACTION.
[close]

this has nothing to do with epstein, its about oil, US business interests, imperialism and taking down socialism/communism and reducing/profiting off of oil supplies to cuba/iran/china. look at the infograph a few posts above, thats only since ww2, we've been doing this shit for way longer than that.
[close]

Two things can be true at the same time.

you people who are making everything about epstein are really undermining everything evil about this country.

I don’t think it’s everyone trying to make everything about Epstein, and I don’t believe as much in the “distraction” theory. I think this administration is just consistently bad actors, and the flood of information is an organic side effect to the amount of fuckery happening.

I do think it’s important to keep the Epstein files fresh on everyone’s minds amid the fuckery.

Def not a Wag the Dog situation.   Trump’s been talking about re-opening the American Empire since day 1 with Greenland and Panama and gave a heads up to Colombia and Cuba to watch themselves in his press conference.

“It’s not about Oil!!!” Despite the President explicitly mentioning oil.

As if the narrative about it not being about oil somehow makes the fact of US influence and dominance of the western hemisphere mentioned in project 2025 okay.

You’ve had the president mention both oil and “hemisphere”. Neither paint a positive or justifiable picture.

Also, we now have a dictator for a leader. Do those of you whom defend these actions believe it is ok if another country did the same on our soil?

40 venezuelan casualties, many civilians but who cares right? the rich gusanos in miami are happy, hooray! why dont you look at how ACTUAL venezuelans in venezuela are reacting to this? fucking moron
...

Just curious, when I looked up gusanos it was described as an insult used by Fidel and loyalists to denigrate the privileged who fled Cuba.

I can't tell if you support Maduro or not.

Isn’t the issue w/ Rare earth minerals not that we lack them, but we lack capabilities to process them?

It should be pretty obvious but honestly Im a white guy in the north east of the US and know hardly any spanish so I dont think it really matters if I say I "support" Maduro or not. Im anti-colonialist, anti-imperialist, anti-capitalist and especially anti-united states. One easy thing to look at is that Maduro held weapons/combat training sessions for civilians to protect themselves should the United States invade and I dont think thats something that a supposed evil dictator or even a remotely unpopular leader would do. All these people who claim Maduro is a evil guy starving his people or that Cuba is a failed state or that North Korea is just that way because uhhh "they're bad" or whatever don't know shit about the sanctions, embargoes, CIA bull shit and other fuckery the US does to handicap and take down socialist/communist countries. The videos Im seeing out of venezuela suggest that a good amount of people there really like him. But even if he is a "bad guy" whoever the US installs is going to be exponentially worse as is historically the case.

Where are all the dense idiots from the election thread that proclaimed “nothing is gonna change”? That we were all worrying too much and suffering from tds? The same people who likely referred to their guy as the “no new wars” President?

Where’d you all scurry off to?
[close]

You mean why isn’t everyone throwing a hissy fit about a “war” with no American losses that ended before you woke up this morning? Ask a Venezuelan.

I knew you were going to be one of the defenders here.

The kidnap of a world leader is not a positive action under any spin. It’s an example of imperialist arrogance and hubris, and a neon sign example for China’s ambitions regarding Taiwan.

Surely you can’t be this dense?

All of this aside, you’re constantly defending an administration run by a thieving nepo-baby pedophile.

TL/DR:

The oil is years away from being useful.

Trump talks about oil because voters understand oil and the narrative has been established since Iraq. The Pentagon planned this operation around breaking Chinese resource control, eliminating Iranian manufacturing capability, and expelling Russian military presence because generals understand strategic vulnerabilities in contemporary threat environments where China, Iran, and Russia operate as coordinated adversaries. The oil narrative is theater.

https://renegaderesources.pro/p/the-venezuelan-oil-narative-is-pure

Argue with the source if you need to.

Venezuela also has the largest oil reserves in the world. It's already pulled out of the ground and ready for use with out gulf coast refineries, which were designed specifically for their sour crude.

My dude, that’s not a news site and the article is not journalism. The author also does not have anything to backup her central claim that Trump attacked for rare earths and not oil.

Ice agent shoots and kills protester.

Just saw the video. The woman was doing a k turn to leave an intersection and the Ice agent shot 3 rounds at her head. It was murder. Sickening that this goon will be protected.

Sadly, the only consequence from this will be DHS going after her family and deporting them all (regardless of being citizens) while labeling them all as radical ANTIFA members.

Law enforcement has a lot pf people that are fucked in the head who only joined so they can murder people without any repercussions. “Fearing for your life” is sadly all that it takes to get away with murder for law enforcement and military.

Fuck ICE, DHS, and the federal government.

It’s why for ICE and law enforcement agencies in the country, test, education, and physical fitness standards have been lowered.

They don’t want qualified people in these positions. They want loyal people.

ICE is saying she swerved towards him, but it’s incredibly obvious from each angles she is trying to swerve away from him and he’s trying to get in her way. He then proceeds to shoot her six times in the face for not following his orders.

Of course conservatives are calling it a lawful shoot.

Then again these are the same people that try to justify why its ok for elementary schools to be shot up, while still to this day saying Ashli Babbitt didn't deserve to get killed and the officer that shot her should be locked up.

People have to make sacrifices. It’s a matter of lose a little or lose it all.

There are a number of amendments that allow for showing our displeasure.

Stop supporting businesses that support this regime. Actively protest them for their support of this regime.

Civil unrest, civil disobedience, general strike.

I went to the No Kings Rally, but my felling was that it was more of a way to show the world that not everyone in the US is in agreement with the Trump government.

I understand your frustration and sentiment. I was sick to my stomach all day thinking about that poor woman and the rest of us that live. In a country with a psychopath for a president.

Not supporting businesses that support Trump would mean completely getting off the internet and not using my phone.

I don’t think there is only quick fix to what is going on in our country. My children are growing up in a world without civility. Trump is the effect not the cause.

So this is acceptable by the federal government?
Ok. Government says it’s cool, so if you see the Gestapo out harming people I guess it’s our legal right to act to save people. Got it.

Don't worry we're on our way to being great again!  SMH

I'm 46 and never in my wildest dreams did I think this country would become what it is today.  Utterly disgusted and dumbfouned.
