Has anyone  here written off any MAGA family members?  My parents are on the verge of me telling them to fuck off and stay away from me.  I'm pretty much done with anyone that helped enable this mess we are in.

I have two MAGA family members, but they don't talk about it at family functions. They're severely outnumbered and outclassed if that debate arises and they know it, and to be fair, they genuinely love our family and banishment would be heartbreaking for them (they're both in the twilight of their lives).

Since they're so old and quiet about it, we are willing to maintain the relationship, if I had a younger and/or louder MAGA family member it'd probably be different.

Thankfully I don't have any close friends that went MAGA, but I've definitely cast off some casual friends and acquaintances.

My former best friends were MAGA but I haven’t talked to them since 2023. Anytime Trump-Epstein was mentioned, they would switch the conversation to how Biden was a pedophile. They went out of their way to defend Trump and blame the “liberal media” anytime Trump said something stupid shit like: “You’re the president of the United States, you can declassify just by saying it’s declassified, even by thinking about it.”

Also, they were homophobic but would look at videos of bodybuilder influencers flexing in their underwear.

What made me cut ties was when they said some gross shit along the lines of, “15 is the perfect age to give birth,” and “Women are used up after 28.”

I spend more time skateboarding and making music, so I’m glad I don’t fuck with people whose identity is based on sucking Trump’s dick and going to the gym.
