Seriously. Love reading Cole's stuff. His book on THPS is a great read as well.

 I skated with Cole a few times in my Vancouver days and he was always a very sweet human.
 I'm really happy to see that he's carved out something of a niche in an area that's sorely lacking (unbraindead skate media).

Feel like Simple Magic captures a lot of things that I couldn't necessarily put into words with my potato brain. A good example is how he analyzed why calling Kadow an "American Original" felt off. A lot of other pieces I feel are like the conversations I wish I had with other skaters, but with more critical thought and information that I'd never thought of. I randomly ended up watching an old RDS video from a gif on the site.

'american original' sounds so corny, especially coming from him (Strobeck).
