Finish a video part I've been chipping away at for the past four years. 2025 is going to be the last year I really push myself to skate. I'll be turning 40 in September (really 41), and optimally I can release the part on my birthday or shortly thereafter.

At this point, dealing with multiple injuries, getting older, and facing potential fatherhood, I need to chill. I was never that good anyway, and I'd rather just enjoy skating for what it is and skate occasionally in the future, instead of constantly turning it into a strugglefest.

I've filmed some stuff I'm happy with so far; I have a list of tricks and lines I want to film at specific spots, and I'm trying to land my tricks as clean as possible. But spots change, things change, and I'm trying to be as flexible as I can without sacrificing too much of my plans.

-Finish 50th bday part in May
-Skate nothing but Huffers and GFB Twin tails
-Siwtch tre or nollie heel on flat
-Back smith, lip or tail on transition
-re-learn backside airs
-Not get bummed when none of the above happens

Theres a bump to ledge that lands in a highway exit ramp.
I bondoed and angle grinded and laquered it. Skated it three time and still empty handed. If i film that and get a few more other clips ill have a homie part done.

Nollie tre is #1 on my list. I keep getting close to landing it but it either fully flips and rotates nowhere near me or it stays under me but doesn't flip all the way. Besides that I just want to learn more slappy tricks.

Land a full cab flip on a bank back to regular stance (like what Guy Mariano does in the Dickie’s video)

Lose a little weight, work on plyometric stuff for leg strength, deal with the arthritis in my flickin’ foot so I can actually do flip tricks on flat again without tremendous effort and pain

The goal is to be red2go for summer because I don’t really like skating in the cold anymore and I’ve been in the game long enough that I can sit a few months out without losing much of a step

Just want to slow the decline as I near 40 and keep shredding as long as I can without any serious injuries (been solid for the last three years after an ankle break)

Goddamn I can’t wait for summer

Tremendous effort and pain is how I would describe every kickflip.

Learn no comply’s. They are perfect for old people.

And count calories. Having an app that gives you daily allowance really helps. (getting the flu also really helps lose weight)

Flip into any grind or slide besides 5050, 5-0 or board slide.

I was going to go for kickflip back nose slide but I honestly think kickflip back crook might be easier?

gracefully let tricks slip away w/o regret, getting old is tough.

Re-learn a few things and push myself to skate things outside of my comfort zone, but don't get bummed that I don't feel comfortable doing the same shit I did at 25.

Basically same with me. This whole year I barely did anything out of my comfort zone. I want to get back to skating ledges and flatbars, maybe some transition.

it's not, you can kinda underrotate a kf noseslide and press down on the nose, the board should adjust by itself. with kf crooks you have to be a lot more precise and it's a lot easier to eat shit on them if you miss the ledge.
