- Moose’s YouTube channel is actually great
- Nick Holt’s style is so bad it’s good
- Mason Silva style is great. I always gave Miles Silvas a pass because I assumed he was paying tribute to Dylan Rieder
- Cordano Jordan will win skateboarding one day
- Disregarding the extreme hick areas of both, Americans are nicer than Canadians
- Thinking about wheelbase creates more problems than it solves. Different wheelbase = different tricks
- Anyone on AllTimers is a yellow flag for me

went back and watched City to City after the Miles slander and everyone here is crazy. My unpopular opinion is that Miles has style.

I loved his spitfire part from a few years back

I always thought Miles Silvas had some pretty fake style and was surprised when he won SOTY. He does this weird exaggeration thing after landing anything which I’ve never been stoked on. 

Maybe it’s cooled in recent years though

imo (although i like his skating) i think nikolai pilombo is the worst offender.

His style was impeccable the year he won SOTY imo.

I still think the fakie flip he did at the beginning of the second song in the big part he put out that year was one of the best of all time.

also in his defense, he has always landed everything perfectly textbook, picked interesting tricks and put together astounding parts. so on paper, he has kind of always been rad.

Also while I don’t agree with it, I see why from a new owners perspective why Rick and Mike got axed from lakai.

I understand the allure of ikp theoretically. But plenty of dudes have been dipping TF outta their smiths without them for a long time.

I feel like this whole kingpin clearance thing is like bearing ABEC rating. The people that care about it the most aren't even that great at skateboarding to begin with.

Plus, there's also something so awesome about a kingpin/nut ground down to the point that they become one.

Idk.

And on top of all that, there always seems to be some issues with these ikp trucks. Just not worth it imo.

I unfortunately have to agree. I tried for a long time to tell myself they were better. they just waste more time, cause I got to fix them every other hour. Lmao especially on the Indy forged plates.

I still love seeing Gino clips thank you. And I probably spend more money on skate goods than most kids.

But it is def funny to think about some 15 year old seeing his name and being like "who TF is that? Where can I see some more versaceplug clips?"

Two dudes way past their prime feels like a pretty fair comparison to me.

If you're factoring gonz's overall contributions to skateboarding into how much you enjoy his clips I guess I can see how you would feel that way.

I just enjoy Gino's skating more and always have.
