They should be strictly relegated to transition imo

Same with all those combos like krook to switch 5-0, were you get into a single truck grind and start pivoting around on it.

There are some instances where it's alright, on very specific spots. But generally speaking, they should be kept to transition.

And God Forbid they do ones that's like 3+ "tricks" in one combo that way, just pivoting back and forth. Shit drives me insane.

It’s not like they’re in peoples parts so you’d have to be seeking out skaters who skate curbs frequently to see them very often. Are you just fuming while scrolling IG or what? I’ve never seen such disdain for curb skating/slappy combos.

I usually see the combos I referred to on ledges, and the ones I quoted on rails.

I'm def not seeking it out, and I don't even have IG.

I watch YouTube like a grown ass man.

And I scream like a little girl whenever I see one of those horrible combos.

I think slappy curb dancing is extremely uninteresting and unappealing, but if it gets more older skaters skating and they're purchasing from local shops I could care less and remain impressed of their dedication to something I don't understand.

Its fucking insane how good the local groms are in the main plaza that everyone skates and it kinda got me frustrated. These kids don't really have access to the filmers and spots we have in the States nor the long historical influence to help them craft appealing parts. The only thing that is really accessible now is IG and comps so that's kinda what they do and the talent withers away.

You should help them start a GoFundMe so they can realize their dream of “coming into America.”
It seems to have worked for that one dude w/ the ill fitting clothing and high speed steez.

Shane Goes 2 really solidified this opinion for me. So many people hyped on his ledge to manny tricks, but they all seemed borderline circusy to me.

On that note, I hate late flips/shuvs in general, but especially when they’re in the direction the board is already rotating. Shane has done this for 2 enders now.

The thing I don't get is if we can (mostly) all agree that these ledge combo tricks are ugly and corny as hell, then why do all the pros keep putting them in every video part, especially LA clips? Are they deceptively hard to do or smth? I swear Herm's last part for Real had a combo grind as an ender - salad to switch crooks at EMB... I was like 'wut'? Only pass for me is Marbie because she absolutely spams them to the point that I know she's takin' the piss.
