I am a 33 year old man who skates in shorts and high tops.

After 90 degrees, pants just become wet prisons after skating for 10 minutes. And my fragile ankles can't manage the risk of skating low tops.

I'm pretty tall/skinny too, so it looks pretty crazy tbh. Haha.

It's function over fashion for me in this case. Total dad move, I accept all judgement bestowed upon me for this heinous fit.

I respect your opinion but I’m of the mind if the wheels aren’t facing up at anytime, it’s not a flip trick but a rotation trick. Also on the half cab note, you don’t need to call it a fakie backside 180. Tricks are given the assumption that unless it’s stated frontside, everyone knows it’s backside. Call it a fakie 180. I actually found it very interesting and I read every single one.
To me, it's nice to learn more about the people I'm interacting with basically every day. It's easy to say "it's just the internet" or whatever but you're all real people on the other end and that's not nothing to me.
It was neat to see how different the answers were from person to person, but also how many of the same answers popped up over and over. Jerry and Arto are absolutely beloved (and rightly so).
It was cool to learn where everyone is at skill wise in their skating, who has actually been sponsored, etc

If anyone found it boring, it's because they're not interested in their fellow pals, and that's okay too, but it doesn't mean it was bad.

It's nice to see people open up.
The most boring people here are the ones who act like they're above any modicum of sincerity and just regurgitate the approved one liners over and over again.

I actually found it very interesting and I read every single one.

Kanaan Dern is wasting what could be a much more respectable and interesting skate career by going all in riding for Zero, along with his boring and eye roll inducing YouTube channel. At this point, I also can't see any other team wanting him, or where he would even properly fit in, and his"legacy" in skateboarding will live and die as the guy who threw down at the Hellride dressed as the Joker that one time. Probably doesn't help that he and the other Dern brothers have kind of a weird vibe to them I can't quite put my finger on.

I cannot think of someone who came on the scene with less promise than the guy who dressed as the joker for hellride. Zero honestly might be too good for him, and that's saying a lot
