Pop shuv noseslide, like a 90 degree bs shuv to bs noseslide.

maybe in theory, i'm speaking from practice though, there's no way you could do a 90 shuv into a noseslide, it will always be 91+, unless you're doing that trick rolling completely parallel to the obstacle or over the top

I've never been a big power slider, I barely ever do them except maybe a quick little frontside power slide once in a while.
How else do people flatspot wheels? I do plenty of nose and tail slides, it's not uncommon for me to under rotate a 180/360 trick and have to slide out the rest of it. I dunno, just never happened to me.

Also, I didn't know Classic Slap was actually active. I'd swear the last time I clicked in there (probably over a year ago) all the threads were over a year old. Many several years old.

I've never been a big power slider, I barely ever do them except maybe a quick little frontside power slide once in a while.
How else do people flatspot wheels? I do plenty of nose and tail slides, it's not uncommon for me to under rotate a 180/360 trick and have to slide out the rest of it. I dunno, just never happened to me.

I was in the same spot for a long time. Missed the lock for a nose slide on a step and stomped into a kind of powerslide manual. Learned my lesson about buying price point wheels.

I haven’t flatspotted wheels since F4, and I’ve only gotten them from tryin to 270 out of a tailslide at slick ass parks or some shit, I’ve always taken hills straight on because I’m terrified of powerslides I never learned them, and anytime I’ve tried to fuck around and try one I get pitched

Skating is culture, expression and communication and to understand another skater's illegal tricks is to understand it's existence, identity and point of view.

I have to agree; I like the rawness of a dirty scraped rawdog 5-0 whereas with a nosegrind a bit of delicacy and subtlety feels more appropriate, so should be balanced.

For some reason, when I think of balanced 5-0's I think of Spitfire tablet shaped wheels, thunders, and grizzly grip. Maybe it's only regional to one of the local parks I go to.
