I can't keep white socks to stay white for the life of me so I usually prefer black. Sometimes a mellow graphic.

I only learned a few weeks ago that no show and ankle socks are like a faux pas in skate culture.

If, and only if, you’re wearing shorts, then high socks are allowable.

I also don’t understand the market for high-socks with logos and prints all over them.

No-show socks slip down under your heel; and don’t protect ankles, leading to shoes rubbing or more painful board impacts.

High socks are hot and itchy.

Ankle socks are the correct choice.

As someone who exclusively buys NB, I can't disagree with this. The current bigger N logo is slightly more integrated into the design of the shoe more but still only marginally less awful and awkward looking. They nail some colorways and others look like scraps of leftover panels just randomly stitched together. Still I respect their variety, dare I say creativity, with coloring. They've got a cup of tea for most. But the N is entirely unimaginative.

Socks and boxers are very important parts of my skate kit. Cotton relaxed fit boxers are best for skating. Roomy and better air flow. Can’t skate in polyester spandex briefs. And socks have to have some extra fabric or compression, not too thin or slippery. Stance performance line, not the casual line. Nike soccer or baseball socks are good too, not just the standard ones. Anyone else like this?

I like the NB# Reynolds shoe but also think it’s ugly and I’ve seen it on foot of some people where I don’t really think it looks cool. The more I see it the less I like it but I do still like it.

I love Darn Tough socks in the winter but I hate them for skating. I need a cotton sock (increasingly difficult to find) that gets sweaty and sticks to the insole a little bit.

I don’t like wool socks in summer unless I’m hiking. The regular ones are too hot and the thin ones make all my shoes feel loose.
