Slap is pretty much an echo chamber for the 35 to 40 regular posters on this website. I still come here mostly for shoes and gear and to peek in on the happenings in UWTB but there's definitely a lack of fun posters. I miss Cheetahsheets and LeDave and a few of the other resident schizos that got ran out of here (most of them because of their own fault). Uncle Flea is my favorite PAL because you never know what state of lucidity he's in.

Where did I say that I missed the offensive posters? Like the dude shitting up this current thread, the obvious trolls and edgemeister's get weeded out pretty quickly. I even prefaced it by saying that most of them did that on their own by being dumbasses. It's not even that I want everything to be super edgy and offensive it's just most of you have the opinions of redditors and think being a snarky and passive aggressive dork is the high point of comedy. I've come to terms that I don't have any of the same opinions as most of the people here and keep a lot of it to myself instead of complaining. I just wish people weren't as uptight and we could have some fun posting more often.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, some of y'all take posting on a skateboarding forum way too serious. I enjoy this place but so many of y'all are quick to seemingly take personal offence to other people's opinions. Who really gives a fuck if someone doesn't like the AH eagle? Why does it matter so much to certain people that we allow trolls and the like to mingle with us when they're not here for anything remotely close to good faith?

To complain about political discussion is to ignore reality and the real effects political decisions have on every single one of us. But, that's why its relegated to the WHATEVER section for the most part. Until one of the fascist grifters does something incredibly stupid and is rightfully ridiculed for said actions. Which is also fair game.
