Fuck it YetixThrasher.

Is Hugo going bald already? Is it a Limosine thing? Is Kareem next? I know that head shiny.

a shame that this delivers so good on the original beauty and the beast reminiscences ... but its a god forsaken yeti/thrasher video

i had a chance to visit a lot of those oregon coast parks a couple years ago - waldport, florence, reedsport, lincoln city - and the surfaces on all those parks are so weathered and gnarly, like the texture of an old sidewalk but its 13ft tall transitions

I’ll give Rowley a pass for thinking the Oregon Trail is a trail in Oregon

There’s something about a Rye Beres video I just can’t stand, I can’t pin point it. Also yeah Rowley sucks.

Ugh, as someone born and raised in the NW, I kinda hate this is still the same corny edit people make when they come to the NW. Love to see Simon footy regardless, but man we have a lot more to offer than this. Also, all of these bowls are weathered af, full of leaves + rainwater for 2/3rds of the year. These parks are the least practical shit to build in our climate and environment.

Better than a crail vid tho no? For a corporate sponsored trip video I didn't think it was that bad.

All worth it for the unreal Simon footage

Makes what they are doing all the "gnarlier" (Rowley needs a thesaurus.) Kowalski's loop at PC was bonkers.

Can't believe people complain about PNW parks like you just did. 25 years ago there was nothing to skate. I get it's time for some variety but those deep pits put Oregon on the map.

The commentary thing would probably have been annoying even if it was made by someone else than Rowley I guess. It's just not necessary but it was short...

For the rest, strong old Anti Hero vibe, I really liked it. Wish we could have seen a bit more street skating from Louie and the other street oriented persons, but I guess there wasn't too many spots there.

Once I heard the first syllable out of Rowley's Liverpool lips, I knew Slap would have a field-day with this one!

Overall kind of meh, Yeti seems like camping equipment for douchebags, but what do I know? On the plus side, Simon Bannerot and Kevin Kowalski were highly entertaining.

Was I in some kind of fever dream, but did some of that footage seemed sped up?

tons of street spots in Oregon, they just chose not to go to them. those big concrete parks on the Oregon coast fit the "Yeti vibe" better than street spots in downtown Portland. they're trying to sell a lifestyle of pulling up in your camper van to the Lincoln City park with your Yeti cooler after camping nearby last night or whatever, and that doesn't really mesh as well with the aesthetics of street skating in the urban areas of the PNW.

He went from vegan punk to meathead knife guy. Also FreeDome, his blow job board brand, that failed.

And generally seems to have adopted the worldview of your average middle aged white guy from Orange County. As much as I loved prime Rowley, nowadays he's a complete kook.
