Feels like there are three likely scenarios for how Rog's continued involvement with the Nice Club plays out:

1. They say nothing. Don't address his disgusting far-right politics at all.
2. Crob makes a hollow statement about "doing better."
3. The podcast takes a heavy right-wing turn as a reaction to "cancel culture" and "woke lib keyboard warriors," and they embrace Oblow, 1010, and do a very special episode with Gator and call it some shit like Live from San Quentin, the True Untold Story of Gator, or Unfortunate Rough Sex: the Gator Story feat. Mark Oblow.

My money is on 1 or 3.

i just had grilled cheese with tomato and jalapeño and it was delightful

I got these candied jalapenos from the market last year and was making grilled cheese sandwiches with those and some cheddar and cream cheese, amazing stuff. Japaleno popper sandwich basically. Never added bacon but I'm sure that's even better.

How much is the average bahn mi in the US? In Australia they can go up to AUD $12 which is ridiculous for some crusty bread with shaved vegetables. It's mostly just expensive water if you don't eat meat fillings. I need about three of them fill any hunger.

The asían shop around the corner from me does bahn mi's for €4 for pork or €3.5 for veggie (with cashew nuts). Cheaper than a pint and 10/10. Baguettes in France thou are top notch.

I'm Australian and when I started eating bahn mi's about ten years ago my local place sold them for $7 or $8 if you wanted roast pork. Now they are about $12-$13 each and they put less meat in than they used to. I know the cost of living has increased but that's close to twice the price

I’m in Vancouver. Price hella varies. The dingier the spot, the better deal and meat you’ll get as a general rule (7-9 CAD). Go anywhere trendy like Main and DT, where vendors have picked up people will pay anything, and expect to pay between 10-13 CAD for something quite a bit smaller and with less filling all round. 20 USD sounds nuts to me but maybe the ones in murica are more generous

Recently it’s been roast beef, Caesar dressing, and Swiss on either wheat bread or a tortilla. It’s what I make when I’m running out the door and realize I haven’t had lunch and won’t be in a position to have lunch til about dinner time.
