How much is the average bahn mi in the US? In Australia they can go up to AUD $12 which is ridiculous for some crusty bread with shaved vegetables. It's mostly just expensive water if you don't eat meat fillings. I need about three of them fill any hunger.

I ain’t paying over 4 bucks, palacios the town I grew up in accepted refugees from the war so we have a pretty strong Vietnamese community, so I grew up with decent Vietnamese cuisine relatively close, when I moved to Austin I was pissed cause I couldn’t find one under 6 bucks, but with a little searching I found a spot that did em for 4 dollars still a bit pricey but ain’t no way I’m finding one for 2.50 which is what they went for at sandwich express in palacios

I'm Australian and when I started eating bahn mi's about ten years ago my local place sold them for $7 or $8 if you wanted roast pork. Now they are about $12-$13 each and they put less meat in than they used to. I know the cost of living has increased but that's close to twice the price

$3.90 banh mi in Marrickville in 2010 kept me alive

Starring Tommy Guerrerpho and Ray Báhnbi.
Now, we used to say we put on our tights to put on the world. So I don't think it tarnishes the image at all.

Pho is the best hungover recovery food ever.

Yay; most definitely. It's a sweetened mayo sorta like Japanese mayo, but without MSG. Most shops worth their salt will make it in house daily. It's called "Sốt Bơ Trứng" in Vietnamese. Recipes vary from family to family; shop to shop. But along with pâté IMHO, it's crucial for a proper bánh mì.

...As is the bread (bánh mì) itself.

Bahn Mi report from Paris
id rec a few spots round Belleville. they all kinda do the same sandwich for like 7 or 8 euro just gotta make sure they serve the real baguette tradition and not that white flavorless supermarket baguette
there is  good spot near république on Rue Turbigo too.
while on the sando subject. Epicerie Castellane near Madeleine got a meeeeean raclette sandwich for 14 euro. well worth it and massive. get to pick different ham cuts and raclette varieties during the winter.
fuck rogers corny ass too

It's a thing conspiracy people always pick up on to show the elites are in a secret illuminati cult. Knowing the media he consumes he probably knows that...

Or he's just doing it absent mindedly.

He is definitely doing that hand gesture intentionally. I don’t know what it means and I don’t care because if Roger is associated with it, I can be sure it’s some bullcronkey. Some actual hogwash

Looks like an inverted pyramid/all seeing eye. Which is fuckin hilarious if so because he worships Elon, who if anyone is a goddamn reptilian it’d be him licking flys off the Oval Office window.

rog dreams of being the fly

What does it mean or infer when someone like roger (a nobody) makes a symbol like this? I have no clue.

Does roger want us to believe hes in some secret society? is he alerting us that a secret society exists? like what it the point when people do this?

I wonder what the conspiracy is. the system is against him/us because he came out of a lifetime of working as a skateboarding filmer in a broke ass industry with no money and a drinking problem? That's par for the course in our world.

It’s a modified version of the big vagina hand gesture from Curb Your Enthusiasm.
