Tuff Toe or KGs Boot Guard instead of shoe goo?
« on: February 03, 2025, 02:19:41 PM »
Being unable to find any skate shoes that are wide enough i'm probably going to resort to non skate shoes and just basically cover them in Shoe goo or one of these other products. I recently discovered both Tuff Toes and KGs boot guard, they seem tougher but not as flexible as shoe goo but something stronger may be needed to protect non skate shoes. Anyone try either of these?

I exclusively skate adidas shell toes, reebok club c and puma court stars that I find at the thrift cause I'm beyond broke but that goo has been my go to for years, cheap effective and durable

flick spots along sole get shoe goo, separations get super/gorilla/krazy glue, but for flick area I use sneakercrete or press-on nail glue since they allow for some flex.
