There was no wire. Clark's planet needed him.

The fs boardslide photo for that Osiris ad is just incredible.

I rewatch these Jerry b-sides often:

Jerry is just so gnarly.

I remember watching the MagMinute showing all the attempts for the ender in Bag of Suck. Him hanging out on after hucking himself down that stair set was just so so gnarly. The way his shoulders roll as he gaining his balance is fucking wild.

In the bag of suck bonus section there used to be a pretty good b-reel with some of this footage, except it had a lot more bails and hijinks. Looked high and low on youtube but can't find it tho

I scanned and uploaded an interview with Jerry from the September 1999 issue of SLAP, when he turned pro for Maple.

I’m surprised this show doesn’t get more coverage here. I really like the format and I think because the skaters peers/friends ask the questions it helps the guest open up more. For instance, the Mike Carroll episode is really good and he opened up a lot during it. Four of the last several episodes (Kalis, Carroll, Kelly Bird, and now Jerry) are really really good and very insightful.

Whoa it’s really cool to see that even as a 17 year old, he still loved photography and had that same sense of humor he’s always had

this is one of my biggest gripes with these messageboards, too much focus and attention on things that don't need it (80 pages on beatrice WTF), and the beyond boards thread hasn't even gotten to page 2...

The part of the interview where they discuss the music choices for Jerry’s skate parts was so great.
Hearing that the initial plan for his Emerica Stay Gold part was for it to be edited to Trouble by Cat Stevens (who wouldn’t grant them music rights) made me play that track through my head and wish it had worked out. It’s such a cinematic tune.

One of my favourites since day one. I got this early Enjoi of his through Matt Evs a long time ago. He’s even skating it in the video I first saw. It’s not his first board but definitely one very early in his career.

Angle of the photo is crappy because of the small corridor I’ve got it hanging in.
Globes Opinion made me depressed for years.

I love that board! Everyone about it is really cool. I wonder if Jerry could reissue it on Sci Fi.
