yes, he probably does have some sort of autism, the kids I have met (my adopteed cousin for one) could definitley not cope with spelling bees/ national television at all, normally after a few minutes the aspergers child wouldn't give a fuck about the spelling bee and would rather concentrate on something else, then repeat etc....

This is all from being around just one certain aspergers kid though, he would seriously change his video game cartridge every 2 minutes, and this would go on for hours... (he had destroyed every game already aswell, all the points, stars, bosses...)
