while watching tv today a dove citrus body wash commercial came on and was done in the exact same style as certain scenes in requiem for a dream. it even showed the women showering eyes diolate and only focused on certain sounds. it just struck me as a bit strange as seeing the first thing that comes to mind when seeing sequences like that is drug use.
