I finished high school today. I'm a little bit stoked on that, but for some reason not all that excited. I'm kind of not stoked on myself, because I feel like I should be happier.

i don't think i've ever gotten a hair cut that i liked. that's why i just sort of started shaving my head or trimming it. but i'm starting not to like the way that looks either, and i don't like the way it looks when it is growing out, and i look stupid in hats so there is really nothing i can do about it.

There's this barbershop down the street so a while back I decided to pop in for a cut. I walk in and it was one of those moments where the needle slides off the record player and everyone in the place looked at me. Everyone in the place was black and I obviously wasn't. One of the barbers was like "can I help you son?" and I asked him if he had time for a cut. So the dude was super nice but obviously was accustomed to cutting white hair. I was getting a buzz and he had a comb in one hand coming my hair up straight (even though it's straight and stands up on its own) little by little while he hit it with the clippers. That part was all good but things got dicey when he was cleaning up my neck and then started putting shaving cream on the sides of my face and forhead along my hairline. He then boxed up the sides and front with pinpoint accuracy.

My friends had a good laugh at the tech hairline until it grew out...

I've never gotten one I liked either. This is the first real cut I've had in over two years. I've been trimming it up myself, but it just got too long and thick to deal with this summer heat. When it grows out a bit I think it will look better.

I'm moving into a cool home/duplex for next year, but I just found out my scholarships and grants wouldn't cover school housing for this summer.

for having to take out a 2200 dollar loan and needed it filled out completely within a month lest I get evicted.

Not stoked that my friends who were losers in high school are even bigger ones now that they've graduated.

Not stoked that I haven't smoked all day and I left my passport at my house which is an hour and a half away, so now I need to wait for him to get back from work so he can buy me cigarettes. Irritable as fuck right now.
