^ it gets worse.
apparently because they built this park, the kids are no longer allowed to skate on the mean streets of fort lee or some stupid shit like that.  and since no backpacks are allowed, they gotta put on all their protective gear and walk their asses to the skatepark...fully padded out, helmet all all....like it says no backpacks or knapsacks.   ::)

the funny part is i went there this friday and skated for a few hours with no problems.  the cops came by twice and both times the guy was like super cool.  he pretty much said that the rules don't make sense and the whole thing is just plain stupid, that everyone should just be able to skate.  then a few hours later the mayor of the town showed up and threw everyone out, including the kids that were fully padded out and rocking their helmets....what a frickin douche bag.

i thought NYC skateparks were bad for making you wear a helmet but i'm so glad i don't live in jersey, jesus christmas.

buzzcut yesterday. I keep thinking I look so much like Danny from American History X, even though our faces are nothing alike. I think it looks pretty good, and I almost look my age now. Not stoked because I keep wondering if black dudes are pissed at me because my brother was a nazi and killed two guys who were trying to rob him.

promised some people i'd start visiting them in Philly way more often.

Stoked: spending weekends in philly hanging and shredding with some close friends.
Unstoked:  having to make 3 hour drives there when i absolutely hate driving.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

I'm stoked that I just moved into a much bigger and nicer apartment with a backyard and basement, but i'm not so stoked that its 10 blocks deeper into the hood

i had the same expirience two months ago. I was getting into it and sliding a little but barely anything so i went faster andshifted my weight diffrently. I slid alot but i ended up slamming on my chin.I took about three of those until i did a proper one. Very worth it.

i saw a bat flitting around today.   problem was, it was 1pm and it was super bright and super hot outside.   i saw him flapping from across the street and crossed over to check him out.  poor little guy, he mustve been disturbed in his bed / cave / hideout.   i hope he found his way back.

then i saw a deer in a field while taking the train back to toronto.  but that was all good, because it was evening and he was in a field where he belongs

My philosophy professor's name is Rick Howard.

but...I'm pretty sure the real Rick Howard would do a better job teaching the class than this bumbling old disaster of a man.

So has the new ricky gervais movie that's coming out been discussed here?

Stoked cause it's a ricky gervais movie, not stoked cause the trailer didn't seem all that great, and the plot seemed kinda dumb.
Still holding out hope though.

I work for a law firm doing their computers at night as a side job. Last night the mexican cleaning lady who speaks almost no english sparked up a conversation with me and was telling me how good I look and that it looks like i've lost some weight.

Stoked on the compliment and after the conversation I'm pretty sure I could smash it.
Not stoked on how butt-ass ugly she is.

Finally traded my obese mountain bike for a sleek, swift road bike.

But it still needs a couple repairs, and I need to buy another lock so my roomie can't "borrow" my winter bike.
