The fact that I work well under pressure.

I love the fact that I can write a paper 4 hours before it's due and still get a good grade on it, but I really hate the "what if" thoughts that run through my mind as I procrastinate/the potential that I actually might blow it this time around.

With that said, I'll write the other three pages of my paper tomorrow before class. EA Skate is far more entertaining.

My head doesnt hurt that bad after headslamming in the concrete yesterday. Started bleeding and all, but the thing that bothers me the most is my neck. I feel like I have gotten a whiplash. argh.

Me and my buddy had a sick sesh yesterday, skating toppled dressers and doors behind an old folks home.

Then on the way to a party, I tried to noseslide a toppled mailbox, in the rain. My tailbone hurts like hell today.

my hotel fell through (doubled in price overnight to almost 900 bucks), but i ended up booking a private room at this hostel-type place for only 400 bucks instead. Its in a better area, i can skate to Potrero park, and I get a private bathroom. the only drawback is that I have to sleep in a bunk bed.

I'm used to getting swellbows right next to my elbows (right where the forearm starts), but yesterday I locked up in our concrete bowl and I made one that sat right on top of the joint. I didn't even notice the swelling until one of our local kids asked me what the fuck was wrong with my arm:

...not stoked because it's bruising, but stoked that it looked mutated (it's not even half that swollen today). It was like a water balloon.

my computer broke 2 weeks ago, so since then, anytime i have the chance to be online i make the best of the time by checking slap and emails. i couldnt stand not having a computer anymore so i reformatted my old computer and set it up and for the past 3 hours i've done nothing but watch porn and jack off. stoked to have a computer but not stoked on how quickly its become the most unproductive thing ever.

I watched my 5 year old slam at top speed yesterday on his bmx bike. He got speed wobbles going down a hill and I turned around just in time to see him slap his head(face first) on the ground... I can still hear that sound of his head smacking the ground. From where I was standing it looked like he smashed his face. He didn't, his helmet saved him. It's been over 24 hours and I still feel like I'm going to puke just thinking about it. scary as hell.

On the other hand I'm stoked he got hurt just enough to know that you can really fuck yourself up on a bike. It scared him and he'll know to pay attention better when he's going fast next time. lesson learned.

g/f got a job doing in-house assisted living, which means she'll live at this mentally handicapped chick's house 7 days straight making sure she goes to work, takes meds and bathes, etc., then have 7 days off where she just comes home and chills.

Stoked my time for skating's about to increase four fold, not stoked I'll only have myself to get bitter at in her absense haha
