I was late for work and I accomplished not one thing at work today. I pretty much hid in my office all day. Just no motivation whatsoever. I'm stoked that I can get away with it, but not stoked that I'm doing it. I feel like a POS.

my skateshop's mind field order got delayed, so i have to go back there monday to pick it up and it's an hour train ride, but i went there today and got an aws shirt for $10, naughty for $12, and the carroll emb selects for $30. and then i went and had the best burger ever.

driving down to philly to see ween, and crash with marty and vicky and hopefully skate with them on friday. problem is, I've never driven more than 2 hours in a single shot, and never in a city. I remember my parents would go crazy with all the one-way streets in philly, and they've been driving for forty years. I also have to drive over this mountain through scranton during snow and heavy rain...not to mention wind gusts up to 45 mph. Oh well, you always have to have balls to do the best things in life. just why does it take less balls to shit on asain girl's chest, then drive into a huge city?

i just thought back to when i disgraced my life. i was crossing the street on my board and right before i go up the curb cut i see a dude standing there that i recognized. i say weren't you at this summer thing a few months back and then immediately i run into the step up from the curb cut because it's not flushed with the ground. i'm not looking down so i don't embrace the impact and i fall right onto my stomach, straight superman-style. then some dude from across the four lane street near 7-11 yells "HAHA THAT NIGGA ATE SHIT! HAHAHA" and the dude i was talking to says yeah but he's laughing super hard on the inside. i just get on my board and roll away like a mark. i'm really not stoked on this, but i don't feel like looking for the actual thread for it.

but i knew it wasn't broken so i decided against it and it (apparently) healed just fine. hasn't bothered me since. *knock on wood* the only time i've ever gone for skating was when i busted my lip and needed stitches.
