i'd say about three weeks. well i was back on the board the next day with my friends but just cruising. the ankle i rolled wasn't the one i push with so it didn't irritate it when i rode. it sucked though because it happened during the summer.

I think a hot blonde just flicked me off. I suspect her and her blonde friend are lovers and they don't appreciate me looking at them. Anyway, I saw them today and the more petite one was tapping her middle finger against her temple as I looked over at them. If she was trying to tell me to fuck off it backfired.

it was yesterday, today it rained from two to about eight, and we all got kicked out of the movies before it began.

I've been half watching friends all day on TV since my remote is nowhere to be found and I'm too lazy to look for it.

kinda stoked on chandler and joey

not stoked that I'm actually watching Friends :(

I'm going to design a remote with a homing sound on it like a beeper so this shit doesnt happen to people anymore, that is of course after I become an accomplished assassin of undeserving celebrities in hollywood

i had 4 days off to skate but only got to skate for an hour.
i got warmed up, did like a 6 trick line(nothing awesome), got stoked, then pulled a muscle in my neck.
i was pretty much like zoolander for the whole weekend.  i couldn't turn to my left at all.

my dog dragged home one of these guys today

I doubt he killed it, but there aren't too many owls around so its kinda upsetting to see a dead one sitting limp in your dog's mouth..

I remember this one house party after work one night, and this hot chick was all drunk and stoned and she made herself a grilled cheese sandwhich with bar-b-que sauce for dipping and she was gonna eat it in her bed but she passed out and slept on it like it was a pillow, haha! Thats asking for some motherfucking zits yo! Haha

i'm taking the dmv lessons online to get my permit and they're really simple to just skip and then guess on the section assessments. however you have to do like 30 hours worth of studying when there's only 11 sections and i'm already on section 4 with only 2:11 done. i don't understand how i'm gonna get to 30 hours ever. and no, leaving it running all night won't work for some reason.

Got to skate for an hour before the freezing rain came down, learned a new manny trick.  Seeing my two fave local bands at my girl's campus bar tomorrow, on cheap pitcher night.

Not sure that she's really my girl though.  I'm also on a tight ass borrowed budget, and I have to walk my bike to the shop for a repair tomorrow.  Hopefully it's cheap and the roads/sidewalks aren't pure ice like right now.

This is definitely my number one concern. I haven't skated in a few months, either. In my mind, I feel like I'd be able to just jump on a board and be as good as ever, but I bet when I finally get to skate, I'll be awkward, lacking confidence, and shitty.

with all the videos you've been watching while you havent been able to skate, you wanna be able to just hop on and start where you left off.  aint so easy really.  if you have that mentality like you never stopped, or you're completely confident on landing shit, like it's no biggy, that tends to help.

anyway, i'm stoked on these 2 shitty 40's, but not stoked on how i'll feel in the morning.

thats a mark

I've been riding on some fucked up bearings for the longest time and today I finally picked up some new bearings; Bones Reds to be exact. I haven't had a new set of bearings in so long that I completely forgot how much of a bitch it is to break in new bearings. I go through bearings so fast for some reason so hopefully these will last me a good while.

Well, not to be exact. I usually just get used bearings from friends which have already been worn in from skating in the first place. This is the first actual "new" set, as in completely new, that I've had in god knows how long.

I've never heard of a bearing needing to be broken in.

Eh, I dunno, I just hate it when my shits all quiet sounding and not rattly. It's like I'm riding a waterlogged board or somethin.

What's the stoked on part of that?

Stoked on finally getting a dog bed so my wife and I don't have to share a full size bed with a 70lb dog. I sleep better but feel a little sad at night when she's not there, thinking of her sleeping on the floor.
