I knew him back when I lived in Florida, and he was a prick and very stuck up.

Being that I have an estimating certificate it makes me wonder what was insured on the car. If not a lot was covered it might be wise for him to buy it back after the settlement. That aftermarket engine and parts probably cost a lot of money. The engine bay doesn't look effected. If nothing was claimed than it's generally worth the blue market on a stock car w/ the same miles and conditioning.

why is it that rich kids are always into car racing, get a real hobby pussy's and stop wrecking your dad's cars. my little brother is kind of the same way, no interest in anything that would take time to learn or skill to use, just interested in flashy, expensive cars and from what I can tell not interested in earning the money it would take to buy one. nothings more pathetic or uninteresting than living flashy off someone else's money.

In his defense, somewhat...I've seen the show a few times on VH1 and it seems like his son is actually into racing on tracks and organized events, so its not like hes just some street racer. At the same time, he's had 3 speeding tickets all going really fast, and now this. He needs to learn to keep it on the track.

Considering turbo Supras, even as early as 93, are going for 40k+, it'd be thrown off to send the car to a scrap yard.
$15,000 in the motor, and an 10g (now destroyed) wide body kit.
Hulk can write that shit off though.
