Even though most of the new bands don’t do much from me, Dischord is still one of the most important independent labels. SST may have created the blueprint, but Dischord was the label other independent DIY record labels looked up to. I think it’s hard to call Dischord overrated for that reason alone. The label is just too influential to be overrated in my opinion.

I would say Fugazi is more relevant now than when they were a band.

I think we should keep arguing about how we hate/ love Dischord and the definition of relevance.

I mean, its a thread called "Dischord", on a board called "General Discussion -> Music." I'm sorry if you don't want to discuss Dischord in the Dischord thread, unless its about Black Eyes.

I saw them in January of last year and it was incredible. I still need to listen to the new ep.

Dsichord just released Albini's version of "In on The Killtaker as  fundraiser.

Love that version of 'Returning the Screw.'

I’m a fan of the demo. I understand why they didn’t use it but I think it’s really cool.
