i've had two boards in the last couple years that were from china-wood-usin companies, one flip and one girl. the flip was really terrible. second day skating it the board shot out into a wall and chipped the nose bad. the pop was gone after a week and I switched it out a few days later. it really was the worst board I've had in probably ten years.
the girl i'm skating right now, i got it cuz the shape was good and i liked that the graphic didn't cover the entire bottom of the deck, so i can enjoy some classic blue-dyed woodgrain. this board has been pretty great actually. it's more or less dead now, cuz i've been skating it over a month, and it chipped a little faster than the boards i usually skate, but not enough to dissuade me from getting another girl board.
i should add that i almost never break boards. but i do apparently land hard enough to get pressure cracks in every board i have, and bend the axles of my trucks somehow. also i don't really skate stairs or anything gnarly. so uhh yeah. r kelly is touring again soon, with neyo and bunch of other idiots
