I don't know anyone that has ever bought one of those.  It was in our Babagge's for about 3yrs straight.  With games at $200 a pop, I can see why it was a hot seller.

babbages is still around.

i heard the reason they were 200 dollars a pop was because they were basically the same equipment that went into neo-geo arcade cabinets.

Never got to have one of those, but I had that Neo-Geo pocket that turned to shit after a while. I should check prices and see how many pieces of candy I can get with it.

Remember getting hyped about the NeoGeo Pocket a few years back but never got one.  The arcade versions were cool as long as you didn't screw up and put your coins in the wrong slot and ended up playing the junk game.

TurboGrafix 16 anyone?  Me neither.

Virtualboy sucked so bad. It's probably why they pulled the plug barely a year after it came out.

THAT'S the one I was trying to remember.  Wasn't there a Zelda game for it?  Did you play it?  GE and Braun coulda got in on that video game trend too, but they blew it.

they pulled it off the shelves because of the price and because the nintendo 64 was released like 3 months later...
it was the only thing like it at the time
its great

They pulled it because it was utter shit, sold terrible,  and literally made people sick.

Hotel Mario?    And where's the Jaguar and 3DO love at.  I wish I had these obscure systems.  I just rolled NES, SNES, N64/Playstation in the 90's.

As lame as you are, I'm gonna give you some good advice,  don't get a Wii unless Mario, Smash Bros, and a Gamecube Zelda game are enough for you.

P.S- I got one left, only 350.
