I've been wearing the shit out of the black ones for 3 years and the sole is still good,didn't skated a lot cause of the heel being higher than the front but they are super grippy, light and comfortable.

Man, I wish i had some of those.

Just got a pair too, did the heel seem stiff to you? The heels feel a little different, like when I step on my board I feel all of the concave. I think once they break in more they'll feel normal.

Emerica - Tempster I have to say this shoe is really hard to break in, it feels more like a cup sole then a vulc shoe and took me 3 sessions to finally start breaking them in. I am starting to really like them, the canvas is super thick and showing no wear even after a week of skating, the sole is super grippy and holds up. The main downsides are the insole they come with are super thin, I had to put in a thick insole into them and the back of the shoe tore my Achilles tendons up, I had to wear band aids for a couple of days while breaking them in. If you get them I would recommend wearing band aids where it rubs until they are broken in and getting a nice thick insole.

Anytime that I've talked to anyone, in person and on forums - almost everyone usually seems against the new designs. Which, is really weird to me because I feel like the actual function of the shoe is so much better now.
But people have been talking about the decreasing quality of SBs for years now.

The only thing that I think is actually better about the old ones are the colorways and the quality of the materials. But for function and comfort, the new dunks take the cake.

The new Dunk is better for function for sure, but the colorways and quality went out the fucking window. I love the Dunk, but I cant find any colorway i want to own!
