I do a bunch of wallie and wallie variations every time I go skate and thin shoes do not hold up well when I do them so I probably shouldn't have gotten the Howards. I've been skating them for about a week and I'm already starting to see my sock. Hopefully the Griffins I ordered hold up better.

Really? That sounds like a defect to me. Because these shoes lasted me a good month and that's saying a lot as I go through shoes every 2 weeks. You should hit up Lakai.

Thanks but what do I even say in the e-mail and how can I even prove I've only skated them for that little amount of time? I feel like I'll sound like a whiny bitch who's never seen a shoe wear down from skating before

Edit: I just sent them an e-mail about the shoe. It would be nice to get another pair of shoes but if I don't I'm not worried considering I only paid 25 bucks for em.

I felt the same when I emailed emerica about a pair of laced when the stitching in the back completely ripped and left my heel hanging out. They said they'd send a new pair once I send my pair in. They're good dudes

They'll ask for a proof of purchase and some pictures so do your best to show the defective side of the shoe.
Hopefully you get another pair man!

I emailed them about a pair of carlo's I had, where the rubber pad in the heel was all off centered, all I wanted was some new insoles and they responded once with "yeah get us your address we'll hook you up." Nothing. I just said  fuck it and bought some reminds.

How are these man? I've been tempted to buy these, but I'm afraid they won't be worth the price.

Scored these for $30

Don't regret it at all, really nice and comfortable. Hoping the weather will let up so I can see how they skate. I usually wear alot thinner shoes, usually vulcs so hopefully I'll be able to adapt to them quickly because they seem nice.

Absolutely agree with you about the  tread on the sole being too shallow,  it's probably going to go bald really fast.  Don't know what the hell they were thinking,  the grooves should be 2x as deep as they are,  maybe they were trying to find a balance between cushion and board feel and decided to go with cushion over making the life span of the sole better. Either way they feel like they will skate well.  At least they were only $30.

It's called the Pro Leather Mid, this is I think the 2nd or 3rd time they changed the shoe in the line. My only concern would be the tread. But I want to try some cupsole cons at some point.

Thanks, Ill try to find them somewhere. I only skate cupsole shoes, and lately Ive been thinking about switching into midtops, or hightops. But to find something that is not a Nike Dunk or some Supra abomination is really difficult over  here.

Got these for the low during all the Black Friday sales. I planned on just wearing them around and then MAYBE skating em (i love midtops but always been hesitant about Hi's) but I had the weird inclination to skate them today and they're actually really fucking good. they feel just like the regular 7's but with full ankle protection, without restricting movement. they look exactly like the lows when wearing pants too. Im stoked on em they'll definitely be my go-to shoe for gaps n whatnot.

I had a pair when the first released.Even after balding the sole due to filming they still hold up and grip.As stated above the grip pattern should be changed.Other then that it was my favorite shoe from supra to date

I know that they'll only last a couple sessions even with shoe goo but they feel so damn good and it's my favorite colorway.
