Did anyone else get chance to skate the Vans J-Lay's?? i had 2 pairs when they originally came out and loved them. I've actually been trying to find some on ebay but they either don't have my size or are waaay too pricey.

$90 is a steep but I think worth it since that toe cap will make it last a little longer.

But wearing these to break them in so I can skate in them soon.

yes i had a pair and they were one of my favorites. a couple of months ago i looked everywhere for a pair and couldnt find any in my size

I think these are the best shoe I've skated this year. Great toe and loads of board feel.

Other shoes skated:Dunks, G6x2, Kalis and now half cabs... My feet are too old for half cabs!

I did as well! Same color for $25 bucks. They're everything I wanted the Vans Chima to be and more. I also got the Zoom Gatos because I'm a sucker for soccer shoes and Alex Olson

I picked up some Provosts for $39.99 at Skate Warehouse this week.  Haven't skated them yet but they are super light and have a more rigid feel than the Vincents.  The sole panels and insole seem pretty nice.  I will post an update after I skate in them some.

Skating Vincent's new shoe and I'm impressed. They felt a bit stiff in the first session but today they skated amazing and it looks like they are going to last a while. Great board feel and my feet weren't aching after skating like most vulcs do.

I'd say try the 12s, it sucks you can't get a half size, hopefully that works for you

Ya, i mean just walking around they feel comfortable. But its just weird looking down and seeing these fat puffy things. I havent really skated with these yet though. The gravis look like they will fall aort in 2 sessions , so im chilling with those.

As long as you put shoe-goo or some super glue on them before you skate them, you'll be good. Those shoes are great to skate in, the sole lasts forever and is really grippy
