those shoes are what i image an airspeed - christianity collab would look like
[close]

I dont think they look that bad, but yeah they have some aspects they should change if they wanna survive.

1st, who the fuck wants a Mike V pro model in 2015? Why not try someone who still is relevant?
2nd, Change that cross logo, i know it makes an S of servant but people only see crosses and relate with religion and that's not cool in a shoe brand. In the Mike V model it kinda works because you barelly see the crosses and see clearly the S.
3rd, change the sole design for once at least. All their shoes feature the same sole. That looks borring/cheap/lazy.

That being said i kinda like their work.. Euro shoe brands are an rarity and their product seems legit. I've read some review about that dagon shoe and they last surpriselly good for a vegan shoe, so i'm interested in that 4skin stuff. Mike V shoe is solid too, could be an emerica shoe and nobody would notice. And they are skater owned guys, more core than Vans so what are you waiting for?

[close]

A friend from Sweden was telling me about Servant. According to him Mike V has a shoe because he's an American pro. That was all the resume required. Also the cross and the brand being called Servant are intentional. As in Servants of the lord. I don't know if he knows what he's talking about, but I can buy it.
[close]

Ok, i understand the Cross/Servant thing but it looks bad on a shoe, at least make it like in the Vallely one where the S is enhanced and not the crosses.
Also there's so much more people in the US that deserve a shoe over Mike V. I think nobody takes Mike V seriously this days...

Yeah I think it's a bad logo too. I guess it's fine if you want to wrap your business in religion, I don't really care, but you're really limiting your market. It's not my money though.

I also totally agree on the Mike V. thing, but everybody else probably has other options. Even a small Nike check is probably better.

The Louie shoe I ordered to wear around and skate once it's spring. They're pretty awesome looking, don't find too many cool green shoes.

I chill with my green ones at work. They're comfortable as fuck. Going up a half size (vs. Nike sizing) worked for me. The leather ones are comfy all around. I got a pair of black suede ones, which are as comfortable around the toes, sides, and bottom, but the canvas collar area needs a little breaking in compared to the all-leather colorways.

Got these from the New Balance test program.

The worst thing about those samples/wear test are the unnecessary long 500 feet of extra shoe lace length.

Yeah, it's pretty absurd how long they are.

I got those in a different color a while back and if you just lace them up to the top they're not too long.

I keep finding random new balances at the goodwill by my house and stumbled up on a pair that looked like these but had a little extra piece of fabric where the toe meets the upper? Have any you test program guys come across these? Also how did you get into said program? Open sign ups or more of a flow deal?

Current rotation is the Nike Koston Huaraches in force blue, Huf Choice in all black with the ostrich leather looking shit on the logo (probably my current favorite shoes), and just found some adidas Sambas at Ross for $20 yesterday. Not really skate shoes, but effectively the same. grippy as hell, but will probably blow out in no time.  Not that I get to skate much with the shitty weather lately anyway.

Yeah it took some time before I got some shoes, I had forgotten all about it really.  I think it was like 6 months or something.
