Austyn Globe's. I rate them highly. Super comfy and feel really good material wise. Haven't skated them yet, wear them as a casual work shoe right now.

half cab 92's dress blue on feet. Very stiff but still need more time to break in.

I wanted the collar to be fluffier

vulc + popcush feels better than the wafflecup ultracush

less mushy

I laced en to the top they were still kinda tight but worked.

The all suede is still pretty warm compared to the non 92 regular ones that have some canvas panels.

The tongue is nice tho

Lil heavy but will break em in this weekend

Could you divulge on the padded front? Austyn said in some interview that he hated that slip-ons typically have no protection where the tongue would be, and these have additional padding.

It feels like there is 1-2mm thick layer of rubber backing in the more mid top part of the upper if that makes sense. Adds to the structure of it not feeling too floppy.

I've got a pair for chilling, there is no padding in the tongue 'area' - there is a small padded spot on the back tho, top portion of the shoe, achilles area.

Such a good looking shoe.  I’ve been skating them for the past two months or so.  Definitely took a couple weeks for the collar to fully break in.  I ended up buying the Taupe colorway too for after these are destroyed.

Yeah I stuck with the original insoles and they’ve been good.  The bottom of the sole thins out eventually as to be expected but the sides are super durable.

I had a weird experience with that colorway. It was the 7th pair I've had and every time I wear them they're crazy tight and only get tolerable after a few hours. I check the size every time I wear them. They feel like they're a quarter size too small. I'm about to call it quits on them and go back to only buying pairs in person. It's too bad too because right before they were announced I was thinking how much I would like a blue suede skate halfcab.

I really like the look of those. I never had Lakais. I usually always wear Adidas Busenitz. How would they compare?

As a wearer of the OGs for many years..I didn’t have high hopes for these, but DC was almost giving them away. So I figured I would give them a shot.

These look so sick in footy . Roommate got this colorway and they are really sick

These are my go-to shoe, and when you find them on sale…even better!

Hod do these hold up? Been thinking about re visiting my childhood. Saw some brown black ones on sale and have been very tempted
I can daily wear/skate the same pair for 2-3 months. MAYBE have to shoe goo the ollie area after a while but for the price they hold up well. Max I pay for a pair is 65 with free shipping but they can usually be found for less.
