Watched the Reese Forbes documentary a few weeks back, then ended up down an Ebay rabbit hole.  Ended up with these 20 year old shoes.  My plan is to skate them.  They're in really good shape, look brand new with no wear.

Love E-Cue's, also noticed in old Reese footy he wore these a lot. These look like they're in great condition for wearing, but skating in them may lead to the soles detaching/separating. I've skated a bunch of dunks that are 10+yrs old and I always end up super gluing the soles as they end up separating after the first couple of sessions, just a heads up.

@sasha, yep I thought the same. I'm ready to pull the trigger on some Barge cement if need be. I would be shocked if they didn't separate somewhere

Edit: I went ahead and removed the soles from the upper. Will reattach with barge super Stick Cement.

Currently skating Vans skate slip ons and they've served me well but they're pretty much done. Vans skate old skools or LRAB Vm003? I know Vans will fit me right in my normal size and I like the skate line but also would love to try them VM003s.

It is a little hard to see in the photo but were the patches glued on or sewn on? I feel like i see a lil glue remains ? nonetheless came out real good!

I did that with the old SB Air Trainers and the soles fell off as soon as I started skating them :/

^^ Yep. I already removed one sole pretty easily. I'll remove the other and reattach with barge super Stick. Everything else looks good, so hopefully will give them new life.

They were glued and sewed. Getting the stitches out wasn’t too hard but getting the glue off was a bitch, I used small amounts of goo gone and alchohol and didn’t mess up the suede too bad.

Last Resort VM001 Canvas, my third pair in a row. Out of the box, the canvas version fits better than the suede one.

I wasn't sure about the color but they cost me 20 euros, so I couldn't pass up the offer.

Grabbed some slim Stevie’s for $25 from that Exodus sale page.
My first pair of real skate shoes were the OG Stevie’s so these hit me right in the feels.
