What's the most recommended cupsole Lakai model?

I'm digging the Atlantic, Brighton, and Telford Low.

I need a wide toebox though, does that narrow down my choices at all?

Also, what brand makes the longest lasting rubber? I had some Etnies Marana with the Michelin sole and that lasted forever. Anything else comparable or better? My es Accel Slim wore fast as fuck, and my Fallen out soles were just alright.

Ive been wearing size 45 in everything. Shoes on the Laced sole run a little tighter in the beggining, but since Spanky G6 came out, that has been my choice, slips and normal model. Definitelly dont recomend sizing fown, go with your true size. Slips are a little tighter than the normal model, but dont size down.

Thank you Filip, I’ve been skating Laced non stop for 5 years or so, the reason I ask about the slip cup is my spanky ones are just a little big TTS, my thought was if I size down half I can stretch out the suede to a happy snug fit

The Atlantic has always been true to size to me.
The Brighton and Telford Low I needed a half size up.
The Brighton feels a bit weird shapewise, like the toe area is a bit too long, the laces don't go down toward the toes so much. The new Telford low come with same outsole as the Atlantic and they are way better as the old outsole.

None of them feel like cupsoles to me personally, compared to some Adidas or Emerica I have.

Lakai cupsoles (XLK) feel more like a Vulc and Cup hybrid.
But the Atlantic's are a good shoe and Vince is cool.

Skated in Dunks last week and damn it feels good to skate in those shits. Seems the hype is dying down. Hope it will enable normal shopping for dunks again.

Ha! That's sick! They were brought back as a lifestyle model anyway, but I've been skating them (second pair in a row), and loving them!

since i am not tooo hard on shoes myself i'm rather interested in all the other stuff going on- break in, cushioning and so on!

These have a real skate shoes type of look to me but that might just be nostalgia!

First session with the Crockett highs and should skate hi tops much often because I really enjoyed the ankle support.

It's still a bit hot in Spain so my feet end up like a sauna. The rest is pretty good.

I skated mine yesterday here in Prague and my feet were a swamp. Hated them, also the toe shape messed up my already crappy kicklflips

Last Resort VM001 Canvas, my third pair in a row. Out of the box, the canvas version fits better than the suede one.

I wasn't sure about the color but they cost me 20 euros, so I couldn't pass up the offer.

bought some KSL's finally. i opted for my standard size 10, and they feel pretty snug. i cant tell if theyre too tight or just perfect. anyone who has skated them, do they break in at all or stretch a tiny bit? im worried a 10.5 might be too big.
