picked up a pair of the leo 2 in black/white. had to go 1/2 size down(as i did with the herman g6) but they feel great. havent been able to skate them because of weather conditions but they are some comfortable shoes.

How are they?

They fit tight in the toe area, probably will stretch out after I skate in them.

I'll skate the navy pair first.

Are they wider than the mos?  I ordered a pair and I'm hoping they aren't too narrow...

Yeah, I had the Mo's. Those were super narrow, the shape of the toe. The toe of the Lynx is more rounder.

Nice shoes, but they don't last long.

The pair I had lasted long. The sole still has its pattern actually. And I skate to my destinations most of the time.

Just got these in

http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/800x600q90/837/my9p.jpg

Coneklr - How are the soles on these Huf Mercer? Way back I had the Quiksilver RF1 that the Mercer was directly ripped from and they were a decent enough shoe, but were absolutely ruined by the sole. Quiksilver used a sole that was way too soft, and too grippy. It was like having the bottom of your shoe lined with bubblegum. Absolutely zero response and board feel. Just a dead sole.

That said, I am hoping Huf at least changed the sole design from the RF1. I am trying to decide between the Mercer or the Globe Appleyard Mahalo Mid.

Skating the navy ones right now and they are incredible. The board feel is perfect and the soles hold up really well, the only downside I guess is the laces break super easy

Speaking of Emerica, how is the new vulc sole? Does anyone has some feedback? Does it go bald as fast as it used to?

it's sick, i'm skating the jinx 2 that have the triangle tread. might as well be waffle grip for me, it's really sticky and lasts a hell of a lot longer than the old herringbone zigzag.

Same. I haven't had Hsus since the first grey/oranges. Such a great shoe design. Perfect blend of Dunk and Half Cab. Hsu on the tongue is the cherry on the icing of the cake.
