Es Holbrook lo. I think I bought these before ankle surgery a couple years ago, so I never skated them. Ankles been feeling really good lately, so I broke them out of the closet to skate. Think it was my first vulc in years too, I was weary at first but it had surprisingly good support, wasn't too skinny like a lot of vulcs and was incredibly comfortable/cushiony. I really enjoyed skating them, got some good clips with em too but the grip went bald in like 3 sessions and they got pretty sweaty, breathability was not good. Would have thrown them out, but I'll keep them as filmer shoes since they're already bald.

Skating these currently, the local shop owner recommended them, haven't had vans in years. The old skools were a favorite of mine performance wise when I was younger, but just don't have enough padding/support for my feet anymore. These have everything I liked about old skools, but with a huge increase in comfort, durability, support and fit. Pretty stiff at first but break in so nicely without being too floppy. My biggest complaint is breathability with these, they worse then the Es, feet just soaked in sweat after a session. The tongue moves a bit which is annoying but not too big an issue. Don't pass them up if you like vulcs.

I've been on a serious vulc tip lately haha, just picked these up on sale off the DC website. I haven't gotten them yet, but definitely stoked to try them, seems similar to the Holbrooks with superior tech. Will give a little review after I skate them.
