I have a pair of Huf Peppers up next in my lineup and now all of you have me worried  :/

You'll be alright, I changed out the insole on my southerns because it was really hard. I put some lunarlon insoles from my Cons in and they skated great and held up for a while. Just don't mash the back heels down like slippers and they should hold their shape.

Skating them now, they are thinner than they look but are a true cupsole. Good board feel but great protection.

-Nike Project BA r/r-

(I sound like a fucking hypocrite)

I just got those to cruise in. Had to replace my already sole shaved Roshe with the same color. Still can't believe i paid $125 for them. They're absolutely fucking comfortable and even more to that when you go bare back without socks. i had to lace them up over under than the normal way because it wasn't utilizing the flywires which is suppose to cuff your foot in to almost like a sock-fit. definitely the most sturdy and comfortable shoe i've had since the Roshe's.

I feel you man. I got these to replace my Roshes which are (like you said) starting to wear thin on the sole. I had to grab these off eBay because the Nike distributor isn't bringing the BA R&Rs into the country, which makes doesn't surprise me because I hardly see any of the regular BAs anyway, just Janoskis Janoskis Janoskis.

And I'm kinda bummed to hear about the quality of HUF footwear, as I was looking at possibly picking up some Choices as my next shoe. But then I was reminded why I'm trying to move further and further away from vulcanised shoes as when I was walking around town today in some Old Skools I started getting pain in my arches.

On a related note, does anyone rate the Wafflecup?

I've had them in my shoe rotation for a couple weeks. They're pretty durable and I really like the internal construction of the shoe.

I own a pair of the Stage 4 Lows! I didn't like how the sides of the sole were wearing out fast! It almost felt like an eraser when you drag it across a paper and it just starts shaving itself. The grip is as true to the O.G. waffle sole but the feeling isn't as much. Maybe it's the way they want to stay true to what they advertise by saying "Feels like a Vulc, Protection like a Cupsole" but the sole's are hard! I'm not sure if i have to microwave them but maybe they made the density pretty damn hard to prevent it from flopping. They skate well but i'm a little skeptical on how it feels...maybe the whole faux vulc is playing mind games on me and i just want it to feel more like a waffle vulc sole haha!

Black suede Half Cab.
The new insoles feel good. With room for the big toe and good arch support. Just wish they had the white label.

Came up on some Janoski Max ripoffs for $20. Compared them with my buddy's real ones and they feel exactly the same, kind of bummed him out. Saved me $100 and a Nike logo.

are the janoski chillers really 120$?

CCS. Some online sites have them on sale as well. Like SPoT.

I was also told that they're also at Nike outlets now for $89.

Dead. Fired everybody. Moving it to Eastbay and then it will just be Eastbay. Dead. CCS is no more. They had orders placed for HO14 goods and all got cancelled.

I've been really interested to try these. Can you give an update how they skate? i can't tell how slim they are or what they look like compared to other shoes on the market
