Have anyone tried the KA3? I need some help with sizing, the Cons website says true to size while RippedLaces say buy half a size down. Got my normal size 9 for the KA2, but not sure what to order for the KA3. No store in my country stock them, so I'm getting them online.

Currently rotating between these 2:

Liked the red pair of SLR I had so much that I went in on another. This is a damn nice skate shoe for so many different reasons. I posted this last time, incredibly stable shoe with a vice for heel lock.

**SILAS SLR
[close]
How do the SLR's fit? I just ordered a pair but I'm worried I may have bought them too small.
[close]

They fit snug front to back, very close to the foot all the way around. I would suggest staying true to your normal size. Also a very stable shoe with great board feel.
[close]

Thanks for gettin back to me. I bought a half size down after a few comments I read and the wear tested review. I'll just wait to see tomorrow when they get in. Glad to hear the board feel is on point though.

fit true to size for me.  one of better fitting skate shoes out there (*or maybe not out there anymore, it's been discontinued, right?  all of the best adidas models get discontinued (aside from the buz pro))

Yeah that seems to be the case, which really blows... Thanks for the input. I'll be getting Slaps opinion before going anywhere else. Lesson learned.

My starting 5 looking real fierce right now. Shoe game on Bubblegum Tate

DC Lynx S "Estate Blue"
P.Rod 7 "Military Brown"
Jordan 12 "Taxi"
P.Rod 7 Hyperfuse AKA the dog walkers
Lebron 12 "Data"

Not tryna clown your shoe game but I'd only be bragging about these if I were you.
And definitively not on Tate's level otherwise you'd probably be getting em for free too.

Nice stuff, @thewilleasley.

I buy shoes all the time, not as much in skate category. Last skate shoes I bought were those DC Lynx when they had a sale.

Can anyone tell me how the grade of rubber feels like in the flick/side sole area of the cons ctas? Do they differ from normal chucks? I've skated normal chucks and found that the flick area feels like a harder grade of grip (if that makes sense) whereas most skate vulcs have a slightly softer kind of grip. Didn't really like it.

How does the sole hold up. I have a pair of the blue leather ones and I'm tempted to skate in them but I just finished skating the sutters and the sole wore out in like 2 weeks and wonder if that's gonna happen those those?

The rubber on the skate ones is softer.

Had to google the Chauncey, but now that I did I just miss the old Ipath... Their shoes looked so good, actually different, a little less bulk and they'd sell today. I need a pair of all black leather grasshoppers so bad.

Well ive only skated them for about 3 hours so far so cant exactly give a durability review, but all reviews ive seen  said that it lasts a fair while (as herc has pointed out i see)

For some reason I never ended up getting Grasshoppers but I used to skate 1985's a lot and they were tight. I would definitely fuck with a pair of Cats. Gone to watch Mosaic on repeat now.

Supra Estaban, thought they would be hard to get used to, but they skated great straight out of the box. Great board feel, and really light for a hightop.
[close]

dope! the estabans look nice in the right colors. hopefully supra will chill on that allover galaxy print, pink sole bullshit and try to do more simple colorways for it
[close]
I was really interested by the estabans, but when I had them in hands, the quality of the finishes really threw me off. For example the feeling of the tongue wasn't good (the foam wasn't really consistent), there were some glue defect on the sole too. Hopefully it was just the first colorways.

I'm really tempted to try them if I can find them cheap: for the price tag (around 100$) I was expecting something with an higher attention to the details.
as lame as it is 6pm.com has a few colors for the 60-80 price range

Wearing these right now. Not as good as the Lunar one shot (that inner sock is really the best).

Cons Weapon, Jake Johnson colorway.

These shoes feel incredible. Really comfy, good boardfeel, padded well in the right places, and they look a million times better in person than they do in stock online photos. They do run true to size.

I need to post in here more I got a closet and room full. Fuck it Imma do a wear a different shoe a day and try not to buy shoes for a min. I have a bad habit of buying a new pair everytime I go out or if there's a sale. Anyways My homie copped these for me as a gift. at a stussy outlet sale for the low I seen a lot of puma Clyde's for 25 at those sales. It's usually the collabs they sell. These actually feel really good I could see why people are skating em

Third pair of Reynolds in a row. (Cupsole lows, then two vulcs.) Usually trying flip tricks with brand new shoes is an automatic no-go for me, but last night everything was working out great.

Seriously so good. Got em at Ross for 30$. Idk if really worth the normal 80$ price tag but I'd buy em for 65-70$ tops. So comfy. Protective and supportive while still being flexible and giving decent board feel for a cupsole. Haven't skated a two piece toe cap in forever and it's fucking awesome after only skating one piece toes for what seems like forever now. Feel like a better dunk or something. Highly recommended !
