The hard rubber huarache strap on the back kinda would make it hard for that to happen, functionality wise. But aesthetically I would be all for it!

How well would you reckon the HUF classic highs would hold up if i cut them lower?

Seriously so good. Got em at Ross for 30$. Idk if really worth the normal 80$ price tag but I'd buy em for 65-70$ tops. So comfy. Protective and supportive while still being flexible and giving decent board feel for a cupsole. Haven't skated a two piece toe cap in forever and it's fucking awesome after only skating one piece toes for what seems like forever now. Feel like a better dunk or something. Highly recommended !

how's the sizing for them?

^ Mines are true to size, unlike the cons vulcs that I have to get half size smaller.

You can definitely go down half a size, they are a good quarter inch longer than any other shoe I have in the same size.

I cut mine into mids and it worked perfectly. I used hockey tape to hold the top together.

how's the sizing for them?

I usually wear size ten and these are tens and fit fine. I feel like I could perhaps go .5 size down but it squish my feet and be a bit too tight. They don't run as big as chucks tho. I wear 9.5 in chucks and 10 in these feels just fine. Id say get your normal size or risk having a super crowded toebox

For some reason I never ended up getting Grasshoppers but I used to skate 1985's a lot and they were tight. I would definitely fuck with a pair of Cats. Gone to watch Mosaic on repeat now.

Don't even get me started on OG I-Path. I'll get too sentimental.

Nice, I got the same ones at Ross also. They had 2 pairs, I should have got both of them. I was happy with how comfy they were too. I don't know if I'm going to skate mine though, or at least I probably wont anytime soon.

These KA-II's have been pretty chill lately. I just picked up a second pair today. They were a good discount find.

Honestly, I have no clue. They were a homie hookup, the tag says HO14, but its now 2015..... And the blue and black colorways just dropped, without the OG one... So your guess is as good as mine?

Shame. That's the only colour I'd show any interest in. Thanks for the response though dude.

Nice, Busenitz vulcs with a Magenta board, I run the same combo right now.

I actually like the vulc the best over the other Busenitz shoes. If I bothered getting some better insoles, I'm sure they'd be even sicker.

rad.  I actually always put "worse" insoles in them (i.e. thinner ones from a pair of adi-ease) because the toe box is a little tight for me.

Went from the reynolds low vulc to the figgys. Haven't skated a cupsole in years but man do these feel and skate amazing. The boardfeel is
surprisingly better than i expected.
