Interested to hear about the Wolfs. I had high hopes for the centric but the mega flat non-removable (iirc) footbed turned me off.

Started to skate the Wolf S. Perfect toe box shape for flips. Lots of great board feel, even with my FP insoles on it.

I think the Laced skates fine! i just throw an extra insole in once they get broken down a bit.

woops! should have been more specific, the insoles are fine (at this point). the heel of the shoes digs into the back of my achilles like a mofo though ... can you say blisters?

Butter knife or griptape, rub it along the piece that is digging into your ankle, softens the material up. I have to do this with my Stefan Mids.

i just got that colorway of the laced at ross. they skate alright i think they need more breaking in time. and that canvas rubbed off in like 1 hour :(. it was weird though cuz it didnt rip a hole through, it just kinda  scraped canvas off the top layer...

thanks, i'll try it out. kind of shitty that you have to do this to even make the shoes wearable, never had this issue with any other skate shoe ever. maybe the back of my ankle is shaped weird ???

I had this problem with my pair of the new laced, as well, but only on one of my heels. Unfortunately, I have skinny heels making this happen in pretty much every single shoe I own that doesn't have a decent amount of padding or soft material on the inside heel. I havn't tried the griptape technique yet though. I'm gonna try it out on my converse, i get about a good 2-3 hour sesh in before it hurts to walk and I'm noticing blood...

These are extremely low but pretty cool to skate in. Way better than the era pros.

I loved this shoe! It skated way better than I thought, and the duracap placement was on point!

No zoom air insole, smaller tongue, toe box is less rounder. Feels like sole is the same.

Will see what I can do for an extra pair so I can skate in them. I do remember skating leather P-Rod 1's were tough to break in compared to the suede.

Do these rub the side of your pinky toe or big toe like sk8 hi/mids do where the stitching is? I skated the Cardiel sk8 mids and they ruled but they chunked up my pinky toe quite a bit until they were fully broken in.

Yes, they shouldn't call it the "Paul Rodriguez Zoom Air Low" if there is no zoom air insole anymore.

Well although these are probably lower than the Era Pro I feel like my feet are locked in better. The insole of the era pro is thick and my feet tended to slip out.
I've skated twice in them so far and I really like them. Probably gonna buy them again. Also, the laces don't rip at all and that's a fuckin' bonus.

I've been skating the Lynx S and the Miller's exclusively for months now. Really like them both. Are these similar in width to the Centric/Miller/Lynx? I have wide feet that feel insecure in narrower shoes.
